If what is left of the WASP establishment wants to do something effective in the culture wars, they will have to understand just who the enemy is.
In order to understand this, they will have to go back well beyond the 1960s. In fact, they will have to go back beyond the 18th century: to be precise, 1800 years before that, right back to the opening shot in the culture wars.
This war began 2000 years ago at the foot of the cross, when the Jewish high priests, Annas and Caiphas, said to Jesus Christ, “If you come down from the cross, we will accept you as our Messiah.”
Needless to say, Jesus did not come down from the cross. And because he didn’t, the Jews rejected Him. Instead, they chose Barabbas, a bandit who had been condemned to death for his revolutionary activities.
At once, by doing this—by preferring a notorious criminal to a man of spotless innocence who had come to redeem them—the Jews became revolutionaries themselves: condemned to seek heaven on earth by following one false Messiah after another from Simon bar Kokhbar to Shabbetai Zevi, from Alex Portnoy to Paul Wolfowitz.
As my friend Sam Francis used to say, Who is the real enemy?
To answer that question, we need to turn first to Professor Kevin MacDonald’s analysis of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored Peoples (NAACP), the premier organization of the Jewish-Black alliance.
Kevin MacDonald, America’s premier racial theorist, says pretty much the same thing as Benjamin Ginsberg in an article on the Jewish-Black alliance which appeared in Race and the American Prospect, the book my friend Sam Francis was editing before he died:
The record [MacDonald writes] shows quite clearly that Jewish organizations as well as a great number of individual Jews contributed enormously to the success of the movement to increase the power of blacks and alter the racial hierarchy of the United States. (p. 221).
Jews have played a prominent role in organizing blacks beginning with the founding of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in 1909. The NAACP was founded by wealthy German Jews, non-Jewish whites and blacks led by W.E.B. Dubois. The Jewish role was predominant.
By mid-decade, the NAACP had something of the aspect of an adjunct of B’nai B’rith and the American Jewish Committee. . . . By 1920, Herbert Seligman was director of public relations and Martha Greuning served as his assistant. . . . Small wonder that a bewildered [Black Nationalist leader] Marcus Garvey stormed out of NAACP headquarters in 1917 muttering that it was a white organization.
The NAACP, in other words, purportedly a black organization for the advancement of black civil rights, was in fact a Jewish organization.
It was a Jewish organization that mobilized America’s blacks to fight racial discrimination insofar as this was congruent with Jewish goals. Benjamin Ginsberg is remarkably frank in discussing the terms of the Jewish-Black alliance:
By speaking on behalf of blacks as well as Jews . . . Jewish groups were able to present themselves as fighting for the abstract and quintessential American principles of fair play and equal justice rather than the selfish interests of Jews alone. This would not be the last time that Jewish organizations found that helping blacks could serve their own interests as well.

It turns out, then, that there is much more to this Black/Jewish alliance than that of simply fighting discrimination.
By allying themselves with the blacks, the Jews found that they could covertly attack the people they perceived as their main political enemies and weaken if not destroy their political influence, i.e., the power and cultural values of the WASPs—an ethos based on 2000 years of Christianity.
And so the real enemy, it turns out, was the old enemy who has dogged our footsteps for the last 2000 years: The Revolutionary Jew

The Revolutionary Jew, it must be emphasized, is not our enemy because of some occult racial inheritance. The Revolutionary Jew is our enemy because he has rejected Logos. This means that Jews, to the extent that they honor and revere Logos, are not our enemies.
Note. “Logos” may be defined as the Christ Principle, or the rule of law in a divinely ordered universe. Thus the Logos would seem to be an intrinsic feature of all the great world religions with the notable exception of Judaism—especially in its bizarre Talmudic manifestation. (LD)
There are Jews who accept Logos fully by sincerely accepting baptism, and there are Jews who accept it in some lesser capacity by their docility to the truth. We all know Jews like this, and they should not be excluded from our fellowship, especially since many of them have suffered at the hands of “the Jews” themselves.
As the Gospel of St. John makes clear, the Jews became “the Jews” the minute they rejected Christ. As such, their only identity is negative. The minute they rejected Logos, which means reason, order, speech, and word, they became revolutionaries, determined enemies not only of Christ and the Christian social order, but any order in any society not of their own revolutionary making.
Thirty years after rejecting Christ, the Revolutionary Jew rose in rebellion against Rome. Seventy years later they united under Simon bar Kokhbar, one of their many messiahs, and tried the same thing again. Having failed to destroy Rome, they attempted to destroy the Europe which St. Benedict created out of the ruins of the Roman Empire and to replace it with one of their many deadly Utopias.
What does Jerusalem under Simon bar Kokhbar—what does the Soviet Union under Trotsky, Zinoviev, Kamanev, and Radek—what does the short lived Soviet Republic of Bavaria under Kurt Eisner and Eugene Levine—what does Hungary under Bela Kun—what does the racial apartheid state known as Israel under terrorists like Menachem Begin or Itzhak Shamir—what does the neocon Never-Never Land known as the “free and democratic Iraq”—what do all these miserable abortions have in common?
Death is what they have in common!
Lots of people have to die to bring about the Revolutionary Jew’s version of heaven on earth.

The West which we seek to preserve is based on docility to Logos, the order of the universe which makes discourse possible. The essence of Jewish Messianic politics which seeks to create heaven on earth, is rejection of Logos. It has nothing to do with DNA.
The essence of this Jewish rejection of Logos is found and known in the Talmud, which is anti-Logos in every sense of the word, from hatred of Christ all the way down to rejection of the practical logos known as morality.
We saw a good example of Talmudic thought in action during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon (2006) when Charles Krauthammer and the Jewish rabbinic council attacked the Just War theory—in particular its ban on killing noncombatants and the principle of proportionality. This was apparently a “Christian” ideal and therefore non-applicable to Jews.
Christians, if they choose, may spare the lives of civilians and kill their enemies in a restrained manner—“proportionality”—but there is no obligation on Jews to copy the compassionate Christians.
Charles Krauthammer, torture advocate, argues in the Weekly Standard (December 5, 2005) that it is not only permissible to hang a suspect up by his thumbs to extract information from him, but that it is a “moral duty” to do so, provided Israel’s security and the lives of a million imaginary people are at stake. Alan Dershowitz, Harvard law professor and torture expert, would have approved. He suggests it might be a good idea to torture suspects, even the innocent ones, by sticking needles under their fingernails.
The principles of the Just War theory are of course the basic principles of civilized conduct, the bedrock of human decency. Those who refuse to abide by these basic rules are barbarians and deserved to be treated as such. No country can implement Talmudic thought—as America has—and not suffer the catastrophic consequences of Logos rejection: that is to say, the rejection of reason, human rights, and the fundamental ethical principles that are inseparable from civilized behavior.
In France, in 1890, in the wake of the one hundredth anniversary of the French Revolution, the Jesuits who wrote for Civilta Cattolica explained how widespread rejection of Logos, in the form of the French Revolution, led to bondage: in particular, bondage to Jews.
The same thing is true of our country in the wake of the Cultural Revolution of the 1960s. We swallowed the bait of sexual liberation and ended up being enslaved by our enemies.
Lest anyone misunderstand me, I am saying that the Jews are our enemy insofar as we are partisans of Logos and they are not. They are the enemies of Logos, because their religion is based on hatred of Logos. And nothing makes this clearer than the Jews’ “holiest” book, the Talmud, a compendium of the most diabolical principles ever conceived by the mind of man.

Opening the Talmud at random, here are a dozen pearls of wisdom the impressionable young student is likely to encounter: (1) “It is permitted for Jews to cheat Gentiles. All lies are good.” (2) “If a Jew has stolen something from a Gentile and the Gentile discovers it and demands it back, the Jew should simply deny it all. The Jewish court will stand by the Jew.” (3) “A Jew need not pay a gentile the wages owed him for work.” (4) “When a Jew murders a gentile, there will be no death penalty. What a Jew steals from a gentile he may keep.” (5) “Gentile girls are in a state of niddah (filth) from birth. Gentiles prefer sex with cows.” (6) “Adam had sexual intercourse with all the animals in the Garden of Eden.” (7) “A Jew may have sex with a child as long as the child is less than nine years old … When a grown-up man has intercourse with a litte girl it is nothing.” (8) “A Gentile girl who is three years old can be violated … A Jew may violate but not marry a non-Jewish girl.” (9) “A Jewish man is obligated to say the following prayer every day: Thank you God for not making me a gentile, a woman or a slave.” (10) “When the Messiah comes, every Jew will have 2800 slaves.” (11) “Jesus is in hell, being boiled in hot excrement.” (12) “If a Jew is tempted to do evil, he should go to a city where he is not known and do the evil there.”

Lytton Strachey and his friends once referred to the subversive movement we call Bloomsbury as the “higher sodomy.” Taking a page from his book, I will refer to Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular as the “higher Logos.”
Those of us who follow the higher Logos know, however, that the only proper response we can make to our enemies is to love them, and the clearest manifestation of that love is our desire to bring them to the Truth, otherwise known as the Logos.
We should therefore work for their conversion to the Higher Logos.

At this point, it should be obvious that I am not just talking about Jews as the enemies of Logos. I am also talking about Christians who want to live and act like Jews. And lest this statement of mine be distorted and presented as evidence of my “anti-Semitism”, let me add that I firmly believe that there are many Jews who are better Christians than quite a few Christians are!
The Puritans spring immediately to mind as “bad Christians”, thanks to the toxic Judaizing influence they had on America from the moment of its birth.
I am also thinking of the many non-Jewish character assassins and apologists for usury, pornography and other Jewish forms of social control. Their name is Legion. They earn their money by poisoning the public mind.
I am thinking of the likes of Alfred Kinsey, a nominal Christian, who to my mind was a far more evil influence than Sigmund Freud, an atheist Jew. (See “The Case Against Kinsey”, here).
I repeat: the revolutionary Jew is our enemy because he is a rejecter of Logos, not because of his DNA.
We are not anti-Semites because we oppose the machinations of the Revolutionary Jew. No, we are true Christians because of that, as the Church from the time of St. Peter onward has proclaimed.
Like St. Peter and St. Paul, we are suffering at the hands of the Jews, “the people who put the Lord Jesus to death, and the prophets too. And now they have been persecuting us, and acting in a way that cannot please God and makes them the enemies of the whole human race” (1 Thess 1: 15).
We are now engaged in a war which has ebbed and flowed over the centuries, but the sides in this war have not changed. What has changed are the odds. The Jews have never been stronger. The Christians, specifically the Catholics, have never been weaker.
The outcome of this particular war however—and the war for the soul of the West, as Tolkien knew, is a spiritual war—is rarely predictable, no matter what the odds are.
If St. Paul, representing the Christian position, has to say, “When I am weak, I am strong,” (2 Corinthians 12:10) then the Revolutionary Jew, representing the opposite polarity, has to say, “When I am strong, I am weak.”
We are outgunned on every front in the culture wars, but that is no reason for despair.
If we follow the Logos that St. Paul followed, who was outgunned by the Jews too, outgunned but not undone, we can say with St Paul: “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down but not destroyed.” (2 Corinthians 4:8)
And so, as Theoden said, “We come to it in the end, the great battle of our time, in which many things will pass away. But at least there is no longer need for hiding.” (See Lord of the Rings, here.)
Nor, we might add, is there any place to hide.
Many of us are have already had our careers destroyed by the Revolutionary Jew and his goyische front men. The Jews spy on us through our computers. They suborn fellow Christians to betray us, get us fired, prevent us from speaking out.
Our backs are to the wall. We have never been weaker. And our enemies have never been stronger. But that is no reason for despair, because as Elrond says, “this quest may be attempted by the weak with as much hope as the strong.” And why is that? Because “such is the course of deeds that move the wheels of the world: small hands do them because they must, while the eyes of the great are elsewhere.” (See Lord of the Rings, here.)
We have no common past. We have no royal family waiting in the wings. We have no established religion which can act as a source of order and identity. We have no racial identity. We have no common DNA. I am almost tempted to say that we have no We. We are a nation of nations, and that is all we have ever been.
All we have is various ethnic traditions and communities, united by the frail bonds of Logos, as perceived by the human soul beset by human passions.
If our souls are weak, remember that Logos is not. Logos is the glue that binds the universe together.
And so it is strong enough to unite us as Americans—whether it be the higher Logos which acknowledges Christ as Lord of the universe, or the lower Logos which honors him by detecting order in the works of creation and beauty in the moral law.
We are the party of Logos, and it is only as such that we can think of surviving.
If we do not survive, how can we hope to prevail over our enemies?

The emperer Constantine convened the council of Nicaea around 369. He called all the “holy men” of the day who were “under divine guidance” to meet in Turkey as it was convenient for all. Eusebius was the only deacon invited due to his recent war record where brought the sword of the Lord against Arianism. The idea of the trinity was decided by a council vote where Constantine convened the assembly in purple robes and glittering precious stones. It was to be decided immediately to bring stability to a beaten down empire under the glory of Christ. All references to reincarnation were dispensed with as such an idea did not lead to control construct.
The council decided in favour of celebrating the resurrection on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the vernal equinox. Many things were ironed out including whether Jesus and God were made of the same substance, if Arianism would be included in the new book of essays and short stories they were working with, whether or not Alexander of Alexandria would also be equal with the son of God. It was decided he would not be included and then from there all books concerning Arianism were burned and anybody caught with them would be executed.
This edict was one to take lightly either as Joan of Arc, Mother Shipton and hundreds of thousands thereafter found out when they were burned at the stake.
We know that John did indeed write Revelation from the Island of Patmos and I give weight to it as he was the brother of Jesus. John’s Gospel declares Jesus the be the Divine eternal Logos, agent of creation and source of life and light. Thomas Didymous the twin also wrote the gospel of Thomas which has turned up in Greece more recently and it is obvious why it was not included as he calls the body the only temple needed and exhorts those to who seek the light to go inside themselves and forget about churches. Know thyself is the call word of Thomas. He is known as a Gnostic, or those who receive illumination from the inner light.
There is one thing I can tell you for sure, the bible was put together by a group of clerics answerable to the Roman empire and they all thought the world was flat.
Constantine was also a pagan at the time of the Nicean Council. And as with any governing body beholden to Roman law they needed to do what was necessary for conversion en masse to the new Christian faith which would require knocking Apollo off the Son of God pedastal and replacing him with Jesus. – Saul/Paul’s role was somewhere between Henry Kissenger and Joe Lieberman. His job was a diplomatic rescue of Judaism from the claws of oblivion. To do this he was required to get the Christians out of Jerusalem and make Rome their new home. Things weren’t looking too good for the Jews after killing not just another one of their Prophets but their promised Messiah as well. The word on the street is Jesus is soon to return at least that’s’ the inside word from Muslim scholars who estimate his descent according to Hadith at around 2060 which corresponds with Issac Newton’s mathematical calculation. Only another half century left for the kingdom of the average and the rule of the predatory animal. I miss western civilization. It gave the world so much – 1492-1992 – A great 500 years!

I am listening to the David Duke show with Kevin MacDonald (2 complete kosher clowns) talking about the Cohanim gene going all the way back to Aaron of the Bible. Only one problem, MacDonald doesnt believe in the Bible. It is so blatantly hypocritic and as usual the fugazy Duke has his phones cut off. These guys are controlled opposition. I believe that there is some confusion here, and we can clear it up by explaining at what point arises the confusion and defining terms to dispel the confusion. The confusion comes in with the term “revolutionary Jew” when the word “Jew” was used before that point in the article to denote “the real enemy”, and was used after that point in connection with those who are docile to truth or Logos. So, let’s start to clear up the confusion by defining the word “Jew”, and what I offer is my understanding of the matter after having read Dr. Jones’ book “The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit and Its Impact on World History” and the Scriptures. What is a Jew? A Jew is a member of the religion known as Judaism, which is based on a rejection of Jesus Christ as the Messiah and on the belief that those of the bloodline of Abraham are of the religion of Abraham (John 8). Let’s keep our eyes on two balls: religion and ethnicity. In the New Testament, St. Paul speaks to the Hebrews in the book by the same name and he calls them to accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah. Those who did accept Jesus became Christians and those who did not accept Jesus became Jews. Jews claimed to be of the religion of Abraham because of their blood line – their DNA, their race — and this belief, coupled with the rise of Phariseeism and the development of the Talmud gave rise to a new religion called Judaism whose practicing members were/are Jews. This in turn lead to the creation of an ethnicity which was formed in large measure by the religion of Judaism. Members of this ethnicity who do not practice the religion of Judaism are often called Jews or “secular Jews”, and so there arises another level of confusion of religion with ethnicity / race and vice versa. Let’s call the ethnic group “the Hebrews” or “ethnic Jews” for the sake of clarity. So, one may be a Jew (practitioner of Judaism) and a Hebrew/”ethnic Jew”. One may be a Hebrew/”ethnic Jew” and no longer be a Jew (practitioner of Judaism). (Remember, St. Paul’s religion was Christianity, his ethnicity was Hebrew or “ethnic Jew”, and he was a citizen of Rome.) However, there is a solidarity between the Hebrew/”ethnic Jew”, who does not practice Judaism and who is not Christian, and the Jew (practitioner of Judaism), and part of this solidarity is the acceptance of a “revolutionary spirit” which the Jews (practitioners of the religion of Judaism) have adopted since the day they chose Barabbas over Jesus Christ. When a Jew (practitioner of Judaism) or a Hebrew/”ethnic Jew” is baptized, solidarity with the Jews (as practitioners of Judaism) is fundamentally broken, and the Jewish Revolutionary Spirit in that person should end, though that is not always the case. And, those nominal Christians who are not Hebrew ethnics/”ethnic Jews” may also “catch the spirit” – the Jewish Revolutionary Spirit – and so there arise people like Kinsey and others. And, some Hebrews/“ethnic Jews” who are not practitioners of Judaism and who are not Christians, may still have an understanding of the natural law and act in accordance with it. In sum, one must be clear about how the word “Jew” is used – is it used to denote member of a religion or of an ethnicity/race? Dr. Jones’ book and thought is based on the Jew as a theological construct, and not as a racial construct.
Excellent helpful comment, Mr. Wemhoff. I have understood the distinctions but it is clear that many others have not understood this. Unfortunately, while Dr. Jones has stated these distinctions in many places, he has not done so in his book, Jewish Revolutionary Spirit.
The “theory” that the term “Jew” did not come in to being and take on the meaning ascribed here until a certain point in John’s gospel is clearly not recognized or accepted by “Joseph Ratzinger Pope Benedict XVI” in the first volume of Jesus of Nazareth. In fact, I heard the priest who heads the publishing house of the book say that “Jews” in the gospel of John refers to the ‘temple elite establishment” people, or some term very close to that.
While I agree with the comments of Mark Glenn commenter here regarding the behavior of the Hebrews throughout Old Testment times, we are all beholden to Dr. Jones for giving us a way to understand all of this that elucidates the most profound impact of the advent of the Messiah on world history. Christ the kind split time in half – BC to AD. I believe the chaos and confusion on these issues is part of the strategy, a strategy deriving from only one place. “for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace; as in all the churches of the saints.” I Cor. 14:33
Thanks, Jeannon. Ths is an exceptionally illuminating comment. What we are all ageed on is that Dr Jones is to be praised and congratulated for this fine exposition of the Logos — and the need for us all to recognize that our real enemy is not only the renegade Jew but the renegade Christian.
Those who keep harping on abouit “Jewish DNA” have missed the point.
To suggest that all Jews are intrinsically evil, because evil is programmed into their very genes, becomes instantly disprovable when you meet the FIRST GOOD JEW.

The word Jew didnt exist in those days so what was the word? They wont go there because it opens up a big new can of beans they have no intentions of opening. Its why they will never debate this in public.
Mr Wemhoff, do you know what an Idumean is? Perhaps you can tell us what their role was in Judea durings Christ’s time. How you can leave them out is astonishing to me. It is clear to me you have not read the Apocrypha, the book that connects the Old and the New Testaments together. Again, Jew has more than one meaning and was not used in the Septuagint. The word Jew was deliberately mistranslated tomean Judahite (pure offspring of the House of Judah and Israel) and Judean (Idumeans, Jebusites, Canaanites, etc.). Are you aware of this?
If you are aware of the racial aspect of Jews (Judahites), please tell us who these true Judahites are today. Where did the Israelites go? What is a Gentile? Where did the Idumeans go?
Herod was an Idumean and wanted Christ killed and so did the Idumean Pharisee’s. Are you claiming that Judahites wanted Christ killed at birth?
What about the Judahites that became Christians? Where did they go? They no longer referred to themselves as Judahites- so where did they go? Did they evaporate?

Thanks David Wemhoff for a clarifying comment. I personally think it’s too much to go back 2,000 years and to find the roots and make up of modern Judaism, Israel, and so on. Much has been written about the racial diversity of the people who practice Judaism and so we really are talking about ideas more than bloodlines.
No one has mentioned the Sabbatai Zevi and Jakob Frank or Frankism. This was a hybrid form of Judaism that incorporated elements of Islam and Christianity, and practiced “purification through transgression.” Some aspects of modern Judaism such as freemasonry (like the ADL) and to be honest porn that clash with Christianity probably relate more to Frankism than Talmudism–not that I know the first thing about the Talmud. I do know, though, that the rise of the Jewish elite started in the 18th century with the arrival of Frankism from the East (Poland), and it radically changed Judaism (Reform Judaism and Conservative Judaism) as well as gave Jews the opening into the Christian dominated world in Western Europe (weakened by the 30 years war too so nothing is that simple). So if you wonder how usuary or any of these other things that seem to contradict the Bible of the Old Testament are embraced, it relates to redemption through sin. This idea reminds me of “shooting the moon” in the game of Hearts where you win by getting all the points against you and everyone is left (through stealth) into thinking they are beating you until the last minute but realize you have stolen all the points.
The comment left by Mr Wemhoff is excellent in its effort to the explain the thesis of Dr Jones in his informative book TJ Revolutionary Spirit. It is interesting to me that when Jesus was speaking to the “Jews” or Pharisees while on this earth and said to them outright in John, “Ye are the children of the devil and the works of the devil ye shall do,” that Jesus Himself defined what a Jew is. Any further elucidation upon the words of Christ are but an explication however well rendered. It is also interesting that the Pharisees who became incensed at the words of Christ insisted that they were the “seed of Abraham.” And Jesus did not correct them. But a lot happened after Abraham and Christ very possibly argued no further what was obvious to Him about these people. They were of the seed of Abraham but were not the children of Isaac and Jacob. In other words, they were not true Israelites of the true blood line. They were contaminated or a mixed group who were posing as Israelites. Herod himself was an impostor whose story we know, the destroying of all records of true lineage and his attempt to kill the true Messiah.
Christ Himself rejected these pharisees. Could anyone use stronger words to do so?
It is also interesting that the word “Jew” was not used until sometime in the 1600′s. The word used in the Septuagint is Iudaeis. This would demographically be, the people of Iudea. Who were these people who settled in Palestine around Jerusalem sometime in the year 150 AD? They were not true Israelites which is why Christ denounced them as hypocrites and impostors. A group who harmed others and dishonestly portrayed themselves as something they were not. They were liars, power hungry and never deterred by their hanging of the Messiah on the gibbet.

I’ve been under the impression all this time — though I could well be wrong — that the thing that distinguished Ashkenazi Jews from Sephardic Jews was that the Ashkenazis were fair-skinned “Jews” from Khazaria who converted to Judaism (as you state above) and are indistinguishable from the indigenous people of Northern Europe (Germans, Russians, Poles etc.) , whereas the Sephardics were darker-skinned Levantine Jews (associated with North Africa) who were the descendants of Abraham and Moses and probably akin to the Palestinians living today.
If the Sephardics, like the Ashkenazis, are NOT the descendants of the ancient Hebrews, who ARE the descendants of the ancient Hebrews? The Palestinians?
I must say I find this whole area most confusing. Please note that a distinguished scholar like Kevin MacDonald, whose opinion certainly cannot be cast aside as nonsensical, rejects the “Khazarian hypothesis” as he calls it. He maintains that ALL “Jews” — Ashkenazis and Sephardics, white as well as black — are linked by their DNA. And they all have more in common with each other than with non-Jews.

Incidentally, Darrell himself can hardly be described as a “good” Catholic if by that you mean an orthodox Catholic—nor can I, for that matter. Darrell rejects Vatican II and is a staunch supporter of Bishop Williamson. He is also, like me, a great fan of Dr E. Michael Jones who can justly be regarded a a great Catholic renegade.
Actually, i’m only a ‘good catholic’ in the sense of being an orthodox catholic, i.e. believing the catholic church, with all her warts and wrinkles, to being divinely privileged in teaching only the truth in matters of faith and morals.
and i accept vatican ii as a legitimate council of the church, although the so-called ‘spirit of vatican ii’ has often been invoked to undermine the council’s actual teaching.

i don’t care if i am called a bad catholic, on account of having skipped almost any contact with the ecclesiastical authorities going onto 30 years or so, but down in my gut, i am also faithful to the true faith, based upon the first principles of truth, honesty, honor, fidelity, compassion, mercy and empathy, the principles articulated by the son of man.
it is something that i think i share with other true believers such as bishop williamson, a personal treasure to be guarded and nurtured personally, it cannot be deposited and entrusted with bankers and therefore forever outside their crocodilian grasp.

the talmud may indeed be, as you put it, ‘smugly defecating inside the catholic church,’ but the holy spirit, whom christ promised his apostles (and through them their successors) ‘will guide you into all the truth’ (jn 16.13), always prevents the magisterium of the church (i.e. the pope, successor of st peter, and the bishops, successors of the other apostles) from officially teaching error. there may be error, e.g., in many of pope benedict’s writings and discourses, when he is not exercising his papal office to teach the entire church in matters of faith and/or morals, but the holy spirit prevents error when he does the latter, or in the teachings of a church council such as vatican ii and all the other official councils of the church, beginning with the council of jerusalem with the 12 apostles and others they had ordained, as is described in the acts of the apostles, ch. 15.
