Thank you, Rehmat. This is an excellent, well-researched article. I have learned a lot from reading it. I wonder if Egypt will do something to distance itself from its former policy of rapprochement with Israel. I hope it gets tough with Israel. Any peace with this belligerent land grabber is ridiculous. Peace will return to the Midle East only when the cuckoo is expelled from the nest where he does not belong.

I sent this email to a correspondent yesterday who wrote to me, “Isn’t it great news about Hagel’s appointment?”
I don’t think it will make any difference with Hagel as Secretary of Defense. He will prove a disappointment. He has never protested over Israeli settlements before or said a word to criticize Israel’s war crimes in Gaza. In any case, he can’t do anything without Obama’s permission. And Obama is the Jews’ puppet. So don’t kid yourself, my friend. Believe me, Hagel will be just like the rest of them. Don’t expect a Joan of Arc. I suspect Hagel is all mouth and no trousers.
