Is Russia a Paper Tiger?

By Justin Raimondo

Paper tiger

According to Raimondo, Russia is a paper tiger. The Russians, he argues, don’t have any major weapons to wipe the floor with the US army. That’s just propaganda and lies put out by the US army itself to justify further increases to its already bloated military budget. “Help! Help! The Russian are coming!” they keep crying cry, hoping to see more money shoveled their way.

In early April, a battalion of senior military officials appeared before a Senate panel and testified that the US Army is “outranged and outgunned,” particularly in any future conflict with Russia. Arguing for a much bigger budget for the Army, they claimed that, absent a substantial increase in funding, the Russians would overtake us and, even scarier, “the army of the future will be too small to secure the nation.”

The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming! And before you know it, Brooklyn will be renamed Putingrad.

Of course it was pure coincidence that, shortly after these alarm bells were rung, a piece appeared in Politico magazine purportedly showing that the Russians were breathing down our necks: it revealed a “secret study” – revealed for the first time! – that supposedly detailed Russia’s deadly new capabilities as demonstrated in Ukraine. Included in this potpourri of propaganda was the assertion by none other than Gen. Wesley Clark, former presidential candidate and well-known Russophobe, that Moscow had developed a tank that is for all intents and purposes “invulnerable.”

Perhaps embarrassed by what seemed like an exercise in inter-service internecine warfare, Politico recently ran an article by Mark Perry throwing new light on what is really going on here. Citing senior military figures, Perry’s piece threw a rhetorical hand grenade into the Army’s argument:

“’This is the ‘Chicken-Little, sky-is-falling’ set in the Army,’ the senior Pentagon officer said. ‘These guys want us to believe the Russians are 10 feet tall. There’s a simpler explanation: The Army is looking for a purpose, and a bigger chunk of the budget. And the best way to get that is to paint the Russians as being able to land in our rear and on both of our flanks at the same time. What a crock.’”

The “secret study” supposedly showed a level  of technological prowess on the part of the ragtag Ukrainian rebels that many retired officers found unbelievable: “’That’s news to me,’ one of these highly respected officers told me. ‘Swarms of unmanned aerial vehicles? Surprisingly lethal tanks? How come this is the first we’ve heard of it?’”

The reason may be because the source of this dubious intelligence is most probably the Ukrainian government, and they are notoriously unreliable: these are the same people who have been citing “evidence” of a full-scale Russian invasion for years now. Aside from demanding more economic aid to keep their bankrupt and notoriously corrupteconomy afloat, Kiev has been eager to wheedle offensive weaponry from the US, constantly warning that, unless they get what they want, Putin will soon take the whole country.

Former NATO Supreme Commander Philip Breedlove has been buttressing these warnings with what are nothing more than outright lies, claiming that tens of thousands of Russian troops armed with the latest weaponry are present in eastern Ukraine. As the German intelligence agency BND has pointed out, the sophisticated Russian military equipment supposedly pouring into eastern Ukraine is non-existent. And German diplomats have denounced Breedlove’s overtly political interventions as “dangerous propaganda.”

What is clear is this: inter-service rivalry is driving this latest episode of “The Russians Are Coming!”

Forced by budgetary considerations to choose between modernization and expansion, the Army wants to have its cake and eat it too. And they want the whole cake. They are arguing that a bigger Army is absolutely necessary in order to face down Putin in Europe – a region where, by dint of geographical reality, the Russians will always outnumber us no matter how many troops we pour into the continent. The Army’s position is that we just need more of everything – especially in terms of personnel. But as retired Air Force Lt. Gen. David Deptula and Doug Birkey, director of government relations at the Air Force Association, wrote:

“No war has been won through the mere presence of personnel or material – whether they are infantry, tanks, ships, or airplanes. If that were the case, the United States would have prevailed in Vietnam with the presence of half a million US boots on the ground in 1968, or through the expenditure of over one trillion dollars on personnel and resources over the past 14 years in Afghanistan and Iraq. Bottom line – it takes an insightful, flexible, and prudent strategy to deliver victory in any military operation.”

Deptula, now director of the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies, told Politico:

“It’s time to stop waving the bloody red shirt. Calling for more resources because you’re taking casualties is a wake-up call for a new approach – not for throwing more folks into the meat grinder. We really need to think in a deliberate goal-oriented way to secure national interests, not just parochial Army interests.”

—  §  —

The Army, resistant to budget constraints – and to any reform of its antiquated Vietnam era strategic perspective – is playing hawks in Congress for fools. And of course the hawks are eager to seize on any excuse to expand an already bloated US military budget – one that exceeds Russian military expenditures by seven-fold.

As for Wesley Clark’s “invulnerable” Russian tank, one officer told Politico: “What nonsense. If the Russians have developed tanks that can’t be destroyed that would be the first time that’s happened in the history of warfare.” Well, yes, but war propaganda has nothing to do with the facts: Clark, as Politico noted, is infamous for his eagerness to go up against the Russians. It was Clark who commanded a British officer to confront the Russians in Pristina, Kosovo’s capital, during the Balkan wars. And Clark has been going around making speeches in support of Kiev’s demands for lethal weaponry, echoing the Ukranian weaponry, coup leaders’ assertions that a “’renewed offensive from the east’ before VE day, on May 8” was imminent.

In an article supporting the Army’s position, former Army chief of staff Gordon Sullivan argued that ignoring the Army’s demands would result in more casualties: “It’s soldiers we are thinking of when we worry about the undermanned, under-ready and under-funded Army we’ve created,” he averred.

Retired Col. Douglas Macgregor, cited by Politico, had a ready answer for him, laden with foreign policy implications aplenty:

“The statement is sickeningly false. If the generals actually gave a damn about the soldiers the last 15 years would have been totally different. What happened to the thousands of lives and trillions of dollars squandered in Iraq and Afghanistan? What happened to the billions lost in a series of failed modernization programs since 1991?”

—  §  —

The US Army has an institutional interest in our globalist foreign policy: the alleged necessity of stationing tens of thousands of soldiers in foreign lands, occupying territory, and pouring in megatons of military equipment and support networks means bigger budgets to play around with. The problem is that this strategy has failed – and it’s bankrupting us. One Pentagon officer put it to Perry this way:

“You know, which would you rather have – a high-speed rail system, or another brigade in Poland? . . . How many British soldiers do you think want to die for Estonia? And if they don’t want to, why should we?”

The anti-Russian propaganda campaign has been ongoing for years: the military-industrial complex and their neoconservative allies (and beneficiaries) need a new enemy now that the “war on terrorism” is wearing a little threadbare.

An even more pertinent question is: How many American soldiers want to die so that the ruling oligarchs in Kiev can hold on to their power and pelf, living high on the hog at US taxpayers’ expense? The answer, I’m willing to bet, is none. And the American people will back them up in this, of that I have no doubt.

  1. the funny thing is that its true….Russian and Chinese weapons could fry the Americans….

just wait and see in the upcoming conflict…

    1. Russia is ‘paper Bear’’ in business also.

Russian business is modeled after the US and West…. And business in Russia is in big trouble.
Russian businesses owe tens of billions of dollars in foreign-denominated debt and is growing rapidly.

In 2014 the Ruble was worth 3.5 cents against the US Dollar. Today it is worth 1.5 cents…. and falling.
One USD will buy 66 Rubles. It bought 35 two years ago. Russia has decreasing purchasing power.
The drastic fall in the ruble doubles the cost of imports.

A huge emergency for the Russian government is the foreign borrowings by Russian companies. The cost of imports and the burden of interest and principal payments has DOUBLED on non-ruble-denominated debts.

American companies in Russia are flourishing with the cheap labor there. Then the goods are ‘brokered’ back into US with the profits going to companies which are partnered joint-ventures by US and Russia. That is the case with Pratt & Whitney of US and NPO Energomash of Russia. Rocket engines are produced by NPO Energomash and sold through RD AMROSS in Florida, a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney and NPO Energomash.

There are hundreds of US companies operating in Russia. Some have been the for over a century.

Alexis Rodzianko, is the president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia.
There are over 600 member companies in Russia where Pharisee-Jews abound.
      Here are some:
      Goldman Sachs
And even…. Amway, the mlm scammers. 🙂

  2. Sits down, with a cup of tea and a packet of custard creams to watch intently as Lobro and Pat go at it with one another.

We should rename this article ‘The Pat & Lobro show’ 🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. Perhaps the one to ask if Russia is a “a paper tiger” or not is Assad, no? What do you say, Pat, we both ask Assad if he thinks Russian Bear is a “paper tiger” ? LOL.

  4. ok, want a show?
let’s start with this,China Closes the Innovation Gap: Surges to World’s Second in High Quality Science
    a quick quote

This was not a headline in People’s Daily or China Daily but in the most prestigious of Western scientific publications, Nature.

[that’s right, lodging one’s publication in Nature or Science is every researcher’s wet dream, guaranteed grant cash for life]

The 38 pages, which follow that headline in a special Supplement to the journal Nature, tell us that China is now second in the world in high quality science publications and growing fast.
This certainly contradicts the Western, dare I say racist, stereotype of the hardworking, but unimaginative, Asian drudge, dutifully churning out mounds of low quality work.

hello, that last line sure sounds familiar …
so there goes the paper tiger theory, good for toilet paper backup.
And just like China wiped the floor with US economy, so in a year or two will its science leave the US eating dust.
    Sorree 😉

As for military, laugh all you want but the fact is that Russia threw a monkey wrench into the wheels of the US military juggernaut poised to crush Assad’s government at minimal cost of half a billion, a sum that pentagon chews up every 4 hours, day and night, war or no war – and now the ahem, definitely non-paper heroes are crying about like jews at Babi Yar that they are so underfunded at measly $2+ trillion a year.
Watch as Russian attack aircraft just flew within 30 feet of a U.S. Navy ship, do you think that the Navy would have allowed say, Assad’s planes to execute this or Saddam or Gaddafi?
    Why not?
Historically, the US never picked a fight a strong opponent, it was always a case of military vulturism, Puerto Rico, Panama, Grenada, Vietnam, Afghanistan (zero air force, c’mon).
    Paper Poodle maybe? 😉
If they felt confident enough to take on Russia, China or even Iran, they would have done it long ago … like they maybe should have, when they had a chance but that train left the station without the UNDO button.

all this underfunding woe really describes is the astronomical judaic ripoff by defense kabbalists that charge 50-grand for toilet seats and stuff like that.
handles may come off russian humvees but dammit, their minuscule air force in Syria pulled near miracles of efficiency, like daily sorties divided by number of planes over a fairly long haul.
And tiny frigates pumping cruise missiles off the caspian that hammered jihadi targets 800 km away? been there, done that – and no one else matched that feat.
    And so on.
Hyperborea, the last white nation left fighting, while all the rest went Noahiding.

    1. Before the kikes destroyed China with opium, China, the country, was synonymous with high quality products, especially its porcelain which was called, naturally, “fine china”… but I digress.

Chairman Mao is reputed to have said that the Atom Bomb was a paper tiger, but why beat a dead horse over and over again at Darkmoon? — pardon the mixed metaphor

Jews are the real bed bugs of humanity.

      1. Andrew…have u been informing the Chinese in Canada and the US and back in the mainland about the perfidy of the jews? how jew-wise are they right now?

      2. Salman,

I have written to the Chinese authorities and those who matter and those who should know about the damn jews…know…if they didn’t already know. As for the masses, the jews took down my website and banned me from Facebook 1 year ago. I had about 2,200 FB “friends” in only 6 months when I got banned by that disgusting kike Zukerberg. In general, I have found that the Chinese are less brainwashed than Whites and are receptive to the message that jews are fucking EVIL!

      3. Andrew, I agree with you about the fact that Chinese folks are easier to convince about the Jewish problem then White Gentiles. When I was preaching on the streets about jew madness – the only stumbling block I encountered were white gentiles. The East Asians or “orientals” seem to be quite jew wise. All the Chinese I have ever preached to be about the Jews have been receptive – unless that China man has a vested interest in protecting jew interests.

    2. Lobro –

“If they felt confident enough to take on Russia, China or even Iran, they would have done it long ago.”

The US will not attack their subsidiaries… satellites… welfare states…. which those three are.

The Pharisee-Jew Bankers of London and NYC will not destroy the cash cow of military threats…. which increases usury for them. That’s their source of power. The usurious criminals have too much invested over too many decades in “The Best Enemies Debt Can Control.”

      1. now now now…don’t be so sure…BRICS is going to takem kike bankers out very soon

      2. Salman –

BRICS was formed by kike bankers.. Goldman Sachs.. 🙂

        Learn about BRICS
Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa

The idea of the BRICS was formulated by Chief Economist at Goldman Sachs, Jim O’Neill, in a 2001 study entitled “Building Better Global Economic BRICs”.

It became an analytical category in economic, financial, business, academic and media circles. In 2006, the concept, itself, gave rise to the grouping, incorporated into Brazil, Russia, India and China’s foreign policy. In 2011, on the occasion of the Third Summit, South Africa became part of the group, who adopted the acronym BRICS.

Brazil picks its IMF envoy as BRICS Bank Vice President
        June 11, 2015,
Brazil has announced noted economist Paulo Nogueira Batista Junior as the vice-president of the $100 billion BRICS bank, the Brazilian Treasury Department has announced.
The first meeting of the bank’s board of governors will be in early July during the BRICS summit in Russia, at which it will formally appoint its president and vice-presidents.
Batista, who represents Brazil and ten other developing economies at the IMF, will take charge in Shanghai where the new lender will base its headquarters.
India has already announced the first President of the BRICS Bank and the other four countries will each designate a vice-president.
Zhu Xian, vice-president of the World Bank, has been picked by China as one of the four vice-presidents.
Member countries are currently working on the New Development Bank’s articles of association to be approved by each nation’s legislature, the establishment of the multilateral secretariat, and the formulation of its mandate and some specific policies.
Brazil’s Batista contributed to the reform negotiations to increase emerging countries’ power quota in the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Batista also participated in the preparatory work and elaboration of the agreements to create the BRICS New Development Bank which were signed in July 2014, during the sixth BRICS Summit in Fortaleza, Brazil.
China’s Vice-Finance Minister Shi Yaobin indicated last week that membership will not be limited to the group’s five-member nations.
The BRICS bank will have an initial authorized capital of 100 billion divided equally among the five founding countries and will share equal voting powers.
An African regional center will be set up in Johannesburg, South Africa.

      3. Pat,

Russia hasn’t got any debt worth mentioning, Iran hasn’t got any.

        So much for that argument.

      4. Pat,

Sure, that’s why the US is so pleased to see Russia, China and Iran, among others, de-dollarising their economies. OK, they’re not as radical about it as NS Germany was, but that’s incomparable with anything anyway, and they’ll get there sooner or later. In reality nobody has any debt to any Jew, especially not the likes of Iran. The debt is a well organised illusion. When one is not lending anything out, one isn’t owed anything. All it takes to bury the Jew is more and more countries that realise this and join the global de-dollarisation. And because the Jew can’t stop the inevitable de-dollarised world, not even with their currently limping but nevertheles trillions of funny money ‘costing’ US armed forces, they’re getting more desperate every day.

    3. @ Lobro

“all this underfunding woe really describes is the astronomical judaic ripoff by defense kabbalists…”

You mean like the F-35, the most expensive fighter aircraft in the world, that can’t fly in the rain or only has a 17% takeoff success rate when scrambled?

Or do you mean like the latest, most expensive aircraft carrier in the world that can’t launch aircraft because the catapult was too new and improved?

Or maybe you mean like the most expensive 600-foot stealth naval destroyer that is only invisible to those who made it? Maybe the fact that the ship’s captain is named James Kirk (no joke) will pull off the stealth feature somehow – no wait, the Klingons had the stealth ability.

According to those who keep track of weaponry in the world, Russia has a 10-year lead over the USA in missile technology. While the USA was busy stuffing the pockets of their buddies and dumbing down the population with ed-jew-cation, Russia was working right along getting the job done. As you pointed out, they proved a small portion of that ability in Syria with their cruise missiles.

It is really a matter of priorities. The USA is more concerned about letting confused people use the wrong bathrooms while Russia is more concerned about being the next victim of the USA’s conquer-the-world-for-the-jews aggression. In a contest between idiocy versus practicality, idiocy always has a problem.

  5. Interesting, that this, fairly lengthy but also rather insignificant comment, the daily sparring with Pat, went thru without a hitch whereas couple of pretty novel ideas (for me anyway) got repeatedly dumped down the memory hole without possibility of rescue.

    1. Lobro,

Your lost comments have all been restored now. As I explained earlier, you effectively trashed your own comments by using the forbidden trigger word ‘AVATAR’ in your posts.

      1. ok, so backwards works.
        how cool does
        Hitler the Penultimate Ratava, or
Kalki the Ultimate Ratava, the Avenger, sound?

Next experiment: what happens with link strings containing the banned one …

      2. Found in Trash folder. Gets published only when seen by Admin and “approved”. Ditto for next post where you use the word “havatar”.

      3. Ok, so the reverse of “ratava”, if part of a linked pathname, such as
        (reverse RATAVA) is also auto-trashed.

Which means that any quoted text with not-Ratava in it, will also head down the tube.

This points to a problem: the trolls can severely hamper the site by assuming handles with words popular here, get themselves banned and thereafter these words will disappear from DM vocabulary … can we deal with this?

    2. “Like Serrano, Savitri Devi, “the High Priestess of Hitlerism”, was convinced Hitler was an Avatar, the penultimate Avatar. She quotes Hans Grimm, who recalled his meeting of an hour with AH in 1928 at which the latter admitted, “He was not the one”. He was “preparing the way for the one – the bare essential work of preparation”. Devi believed that “the one” Kalki would have Hitler’s spirit, but be “less sun and more lightning” – more merciless.”

This sounds like it was taken from the “Matrix” movie script. I hear the movie’s golden Negro in search of “The One” called “Neo”. Were Jews up to their usual attempts at fictitiously ridiculing everything related to Hitler, or were they telegraphing a future they know is fast approaching; a future they clearly believe they can and will overcome?

“Bare essential work of preparation?” WWII was the bare essential work of preparation? One can only wonder what the really big show will look like now that the preparation is finished.

I stand with arms crossed, foot tapping impatiently, for “the one” to come along and clean the filthiest house mankind has ever inhabited. One thing is certain, whomever “the one” is, they will have to be absolutely merciless if they are to succeed; more merciless than the Jew, and that dear friends, is hard to imagine.

      1. @Arch

I’m glad you brought this up, because it comes close to what I think is describing the actual dynamics involved.

I wax nostalgic over the thought of Barbarossa almost throwing a massive monkey wrench into an ages-old plan. When AH said the whole World would hold its breath, it did, including those who heard their cloven hooves shaking while being unable to breathe. Alas, the shaking stopped and their breathing resumed. But there never WAS gonna be a major military solution to the jewish problem, in keeping with the Christ prophecy.

One way to look at things is to see a German victory as that which WOULD have enabled a smoother transition for Mankind’s eventual return to his true state of reality. The “one” you refer to is Christ – the spiritual warrior. AH was the physical warrior who gave it a shot to paving the way.

Now the ride goes over a very rocky road, and as for bearing arms, think guerilla tactics instead of having a false dependency that follows the dictates of any national policy. When push comes to shove, the fighters of Hezbollah, and those still resisting in places like Iraq, Syria, Yemen, etc. are the examples to follow

And always remember to aim a little high, and think dead center

  6. A paper tiger/bear?
    Best not to find out.
Russian forces are tough and persistent. Russia possesses an advanced technology and a nuclear force sufficient to bring life as we know it in the USA to a screaming halt.
As there are fault lines in the mid-east, so are there in the USA.
Re: Donbass/Ukraine/Syria etc., we see clearly that democracy and self-determination are only seen as good things by western media if their exercise benefits Israel or the ‘western’ banking interests ( I am being redundant of course).
The correct response would be to disband NATO, and a true friendship and union with Europe and Russia as neighbors, who can be friendly to one another.
I would say, in comparison to Russia, the USA is the paper tiger, far more fragile.

  7. YES – you can see how NATO and Western troops got defeated in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere. Now it’s time to destroy the UK and the US.

    1. allegations
another angle of war by jew amurderka
      against putin
      oreobama synagogue/house negro’s superior

the ones needng to cheat to win is jew amurderka, jew west
not just win but to show

    2. 1st of all, way off topic, Pat.
But let’s humor you a bit on this, since you raised it, the collaborative smear between i suppose CIA Snowden and Julius Freiherr JewLord Reuters, he of Rothschild appendage, crying daily wolf on Putin, Russia, Romanovs …
Will all arise, oyez, oyez, the Nuremberg Tribunal is now in session to determine whether to hang, draw or quarter the defendants, with detailed charges maybe to be read in the next session.
the exhibits of the prosecution are as follows:
lampshades, hair-stuffed-mattresses, Putin’s $200 billion, not yet found but surely here somewhere, geysers of jew blood and a major ukrainian attraction, anne frank’s soiled tampons, 6 million undead crying to be heard, saddam’s golden toilet seat, gaddafi’s yarmulke, kuwaiti babies squirming on bayonets, weapons of mass deception, …

You’ll never learn, will you Pat.
Maybe you’ll remember how the United Shtetls organized lynching mob against Kofi Annan who refused to toe the Rothschild NWO line, Paul Volcker presiding in the star chamber, alleging hundreds of stolen millions (while refusing to investigate the actual hundreds of millions of bribery paid to Cheney by armtwisted Nigerian government) and all they came up was Kofi’s son receiving a car from some dubious source, after having spent tens of millions on the “investigation”.
But then again, maybe you won’t remember, an inconvenient memory, when a nation of dope addicts screams foul that Russian white athletes are on par with the world’s best, Lance Armstrong included.

Allegations by Jews, OMG! i am hyperventilating from excitement, lead me to the fainting couch, pass the smelling salts.
And these allegations definitely prove … what … that Russian army is a paper bear.
No bad, Pat, step up to the winner’s podium, a well deserved gold medal for the 60-foot leap of logic.

      1. “1st of all, way off topic, Pat.”

The topic was the strength of Russia….. So, you mention China… right off the bat.

“let’s start with this,China Closes the Innovation Gap:
Surges to World’s Second in High Quality Science”

You are way off your rocker….
        ………. telling me about being “off topic”… !!! 🙂

  8. Attack US???? GET REAL!!!

There are many US funded NGOs operating in Russia, and have been for many years. Putin won’t even remove THEM, even though they incite riots and organize blockades and plan coups.

The UN invented the term of NGO. It is a very convoluted and confusing, mostly political, term. It means whatever the organizers wish it to mean.

Soooo…. Big, bad, tough Russia is getting really rough on US. Putin may have a fighter-jet ‘buzz’ the headquarters of US NGOs in Russia. That’ll scare em… for sure. 🙂

They damned sure don’t want them to leave….. they’ll take their debt packages with them. Russia will have to fend on their own.

According to an estimate by President Putin himself during an interview with German journalist and WDR Editor-in-Chief Jörg Schönenborn, the foreign-funded NGOs have a combined budget of roughly ONE BILLION DOLLARS.

“In early March, Russian prosecutors launched spot inspections of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) across the country.”

The latest entry to this Watchlist is MacArthur which, Smith explains, “set up shop in Moscow during the Yeltsin years, when hyper-hubristic Americans thought they were going to remake all of Russia in their own image.”(they have done that)

“Others on it [the Watchlist] are George Soros’ Open Society Institute (which “…aims to shape public policy to promote democratic governance,” its website explains), Freedom House (a notoriously russophobic Cold War subversion machine), and the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, which began humbly enough doing community work in Flint, Michigan, but is now up to its knees in “civic activism” and “civil society development” in Russia and the former Soviet satellites.

“A project Mott funded in June studies ‘citizen protests, demonstrations, and discontent’ in these nations,” Smith writes. “Just trying to do the right thing, per usual.”

These projects do ring a few bells, from Georgia to Ukraine to Macedonia.

Another familiar NGO is Freedom House, with its annual index of press freedom, so often uncritically quoted by Western media to bash Russian media.

This is Freedom House in its own words, as quoted by the Financial Times:
“Far more often than is generally understood the change agent is broad-based, non-violent civic resistance—which employs tactics such as boycotts, mass protests, blockades, strikes and civil disobedience to de-legitimate authoritarian rulers and erode their sources of support, including the loyalty of their armed defenders.”

Putin can have planes ‘buzz’ away… and keep the debt rolling in… 🙂

  9. I guess the Jews are going comedy all the way, here is another preposterous story where one finds all the economic evil emanating from the Federal Reserve is because it is too white! This is the definition of chutzpah, a lie so preposterous that one cannot believe anyone might even try passing it off. Only a complete idiot or ignorant clown could entertain such claims as having any truth.

“Central Bank: Federal Reserve Is Too White and Male, Democratic Lawmakers Tell Yellen”, in Financial Times, May 13, 2016. p. 14.

A letter signed by 11 senators and 116 representatives to Federal Reserve Chair Jane Yellen [Jewish], states that white men are unfit to hold leadership positions in the Federal Reserve and demands their replacement with non-Whites. Signatories of the europhobic letter include Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts [who falsely claims to be an American-Indian], Bernie Sanders of Vermont [Jewish], Kirsten Gillibrand of New York [European-American], Maxine Waters of California [African-American] ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee, John Conyers of Michigan [African-American], and all members of the [segregated, Black only] Congressional Black Caucus. The letter is seen as starting a new era of intensifying racial conflict as Democrats seek to purge European-Americans from every level of government.

In response, the Federal reserve pledged its loyalty to diversity and vowed to accelerate the replacement of White leaders with non-Whites. [Note: Traditionally, the chairman is Jewish and Jews are the most over-represented group in senior Fed officials, but this over-representation is censored by the Financial Times.]

Video: Susan Rice Doubles Down, Says Military/Intelligence Leadership Too White, Male, Heterosexual. Conservative Firing Line, May 15, 2016.

While appearing on Sunday’s edition of CNN’s [Indian-Muslim-American] Fareed Zakaria GPS, White House National Security Adviser [African-American] Susan Rice doubled down on comments she made last week, explaining to Zakaria why she thinks military and intelligence leadership is too white, too male and too heterosexual. She noted: “It is not serving us as well as it could, given that we are a country that is now about 40% minority, and the leadership of our intelligence community, our military leadership are less than 15% minority. Our senior diplomats, less than 20% minority. We can do better. Recognizing that those with diverse backgrounds, different ethnicities, races, religions, sexual orientations, gender, bring a perspective that may not be the perspective that has been predominant from generations ago. And that’s a good thing. I think we’ve all learned the dangers of groupthink.”

Video of her comments can be seen below: (embedded video)

No mention was made of threats to national cohesion wrought by the promotion of diversity as a value unto itself. Also ignored was any mention of diversity of ideological or political background. Diversity in the superficial dimensions of personhood, implied Rice, is correlated with diversity in substantive dimensions of political perspectives and understanding. So much for being a colorblind society…

    1. Arch,

Well, why not put a bunch of apes in charge.

Afterall, they couldn’t do any worse than the ‘whites’ that are pulling the strings now.

  10. Considering the insane disparity in return on investment of the US and Russian military budgets, ie, US the tenfold of the russian one, which in fact is smaller than Saudi and UK, is there a more glaring indicator of how massively jew rips off America, year in and year out?

And saudis are entirely equipped with judeo-US weaponry and losing badly to a bunch of Houtis, Yemeni goat-herders that carve sling shots in spare time when not laughing at f-22’s colliding overhead.

  11. On behalf of Felix and for your discriminating entertainment, herewith the video of Top 10 Cruise Missiles.
I like the Russian jobs, #4 and #1, Oinks(?) and Brahmos, when they do a bit of Cossack heel-kicking as soon as they exit the launch barrel and head out to destination.

    Built for speed, they are.

  12. I disagree with the author of this article. Cruise missiles. The US doesn’t have anything to match Russia, China or India in cruise missiles. Raimondo is guilty of “Maginot Line” thinking. In early 1940 Churchill, the murderer of 3 million Indians in Bengal, boasted, “Thank God for the French army.” France had a three to one edge over Germany in tanks and a two to one advantage in men. Yet the Germans had them beaten within about two weeks. The rest was a moping up operation. Alastair Horne in his book, “To Lose a Battle” and William Shirer in his book, “The Collapse of the Third Republic make it abundantly clear it was corruption, moral, political and military that brought about the downfall of France. I see a similar situation today, in the West; a stupid belief that money can buy anything. While the average GI is an innocent victim of the government, the Generals and Admirals, indeed, “have the best military that money can buy.” Corrupt and rotten to the core, just like the French in 1940.

    1. Felix,

You are absolutely right but the Maginot Line is a fable we are taught in school to protect the Gaullo-communist national republican roman and the incomptency of the generals.
      Here is the cold truth.

Les Décombres/The Ruins. Lucien Rebatet 1942. Rated 300 euros on Amazon.

      Chapter : The French Army.

In fifty years from now, the history books for use by rhetoricians will carry some paragraphs that will look approximatively like this:

“In 1918, the French army emerged victorious form the greatest and toughest war ever, victory painfully achieved, not by us only, but which the world agreed to acknowledge that we were the first artisans, and which adorned from unrivalled prestige our flags. Covered from this glory, the French army went back to her quarters. There, she would witness arms at the ready during twenty years the liquidation without consideration of all the wages that its heroism has acquired. She stood there and watched the country getting Judaized and dismantled piece by piece, the power falling into the hands of the most idiotic and dishonored men. She was not even capable of defending her prerogatives and let herself getting deprived one by one, up to her tools of war. This is the most amazing example of moral capitulation that military history can propose us. ”
The teachers will dictate framework of this kind to the students.
“Establish a parallel between the roles of the German army and French army in their respective countries, during the inter-war period.”…

      Artillerymen using octogenarian canons, foot soldiers armed with Gras shotguns, battalions of tanks provisioned in oil but without shells, other tanks full of ammos but with no oil, then, after the fifth of June, whole companies sent against tanks with a rifle for three men, policemen molt in chiefs of staff directing the divisions…;

The army paralyzed with her massive and fantasist mobilization the French production, without knowing how to use the soldiers. One-and-a-half millions of men were lazing out in cesspools, meanwhile waiting to clutter up from their amorphous mass the roads to defeat. Most factories manufactured even less rifles, shills and cartridges than before the war.
The French army went to this war by drawling the most beautiful case of democratic gangrene ever diagnosed on this planet. Amongst all the domestic lackeys of the regime, generals and priests might have been competing for the palm of servility.
      The end.

Blame it on Boulanger, he only had to walk for 500 meters in order to cease power after he triumphed in the election. But he prefered to visit the mistress he loved so much. He died in exile and disgrace, suiciding himself on her grave 🙂 .
Seventy years later we are not taught this version, but the Gaullo Communist resistance tale, resistance fighters of the last hour since it was Pétain who reorganized the army in Northern Africa after the exodus from Holland to Pyrenees. I am not even sure we are taught that it was France who declared war to Germany.

I wish all my best to US soldiers for the containment of both Russia and China without air supremacy and democratic gangrene.
Don’t count on the French we have more generals than soldiers, but who cares, we got the H Bomb.

In 1945, the US army emerged victorious…blablabla…..BOUM.

  13. US needs no cruise missiles to control Russia or China. Council on Foreign Relations has it covered…. planned.

Russia and US are working together….. Always have. US criminals in government saved them from Patton.

Russian ‘missile fear’ has been around since the ‘Cuban Missile Crisis’ 50 years ago. It works well to increase debt for military for defense(not).

But Russian cruise missiles are not going to help rid Russia of US Congress funded NGOs, nor will they be good on Soros funded NGOs, nor on NGOs with Pharisee-Jew Banker and UN backing….. ALL throughout Russia. The NGOs even advise Russia on security and military affairs.

Russia and US are working together with NATO….. fooling the public.

The CFR has given the template to control Russia’s political parties, government agencies and groups through numerous NGOs pushing UN Agenda 21.

    Here are just a few:

National Endowment for Democracy (NED)… throughout Russia.
U.S. organization that is mostly funded by US Congress and has allocated millions to Russian NGOs in recent years.

    The GOLOS Association
Established in 2000 to protect the electoral rights of citizens and to foster civil society. As of 2008, the organisation covers 40 Russian regions. It is the only election watchdog active in Russia that is independent of the Russian government. The organization is funded by the United States government through the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

Center for the Support of Democratic Youth Initiatives/Youth Memorial (Perm)
The notice, dated April 29, says the center receives funding from organizations in the United States and Germany. The group has been active in monitoring rights violations in the military and promoting the alternative civil service.

Moscow School of Political Studies (Moscow)
The school received a notice dated May 29. According to prosecutors, it received hundreds of thousands of dollars from abroad, including from the U.S.-based Open Society Foundations.

Volograd Center for NGO Support (Volgograd)
This is a project funded by the NATO information bureau that advised local political parties and civil society groups on international relations and security.

Muraviovka Park For ‘SUSTAINABLE LAND USE’ (Blagoveshchenxk) [**UN Agenda 21]
Some of the provisions in the group’s statute relate to “political activity.” The group, which defends and studies birds, receives funding from the International Crane Foundation…. with headquarters in Baraboo, Wisconsin, USA.

    Internal Standard Foundation (Ufa)
The group allegedly received funding from the European Commission and the U.S. Embassy for projects on NGOs and democracy.

Then…. this year… it has been found:

—US Funding Of “Color Revolutions” in Russia—
Seized documents confirm that an activist from the People’s Freedom Party (PARNAS), Natalia Pelevine, was involved in foreign foundations that organized the mass riots on the 6th of May 2012. This was reported on the website of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR) on Friday, March 11th.

    1. See, Felix. No missiles needed. 🙂

Now…. there are many dozens more which will remain, controlling Russia’s politics..

  14. O really?

Well, those NGO’s clearly have something different in mind for Russia than for us in the West. Something quite opposite actually, considering what we can observe.

Very little debt, promotion of traditional values instead of depravity, promotion of Christianity instead of bashing it, no gay marriages, no promotion of multiculture, etc.

Gosh, I wish such NGO’s controlled my country’s politics.

    1. 1138 –
“Well, those NGO’s clearly have something different in mind for Russia than for us in the West.”

NGOs are the unseen and unelected governments around the world. Huge threats to freedom.

Like this one… Run by Pharisee-Jew Bankers and US Conghress… Incorporated in US…. Runs many countries’ policies. Assists UN:

National Endowment for Democracy (NED)… throughout Russia.
U.S. organization that is mostly funded by US Congress and has allocated millions to Russian NGOs in recent years.

“Gosh, I wish such NGO’s controlled my country’s politics.”

Your wish was granted by NED 🙂 …. It is in all of EU now…

The most recent strategic document, adopted by the NED Board in 2012, emphasizes the growing interrelationship between the grants program and the activities such as the World Movement, the International Forum, and the Center for International Media assistance. This interrelationship enables the Endowment to supplement its grants support for democrats in highly repressive societies, assistance to democratic transitions, aid for democrats in semiauthoritarian countries, and help for new democracies with a capability to mobilize political and moral support for democracy activists, to build cross-border networks, to strengthen cooperation within the democracy assistance community, and to make use of research to improve democratic practice.

      1. Pat,

“NGOs are the unseen and unelected governments around the world. Huge threats to freedom.

Like this one… Run by Pharisee-Jew Bankers and …………………………………………………………………”

Yes, yes, yes, all very nice.

But as usual you produce lengthy bodies of text but won’t reply to the essential part of a post.

For instance, this part; CONSIDERING WHAT WE CAN OBSERVE

Russian politics caused for Russia to have VERY LITTLE debt, the promotion of traditional values instead of depravity, promotion of Christianity instead of bashing it, no gay marriages or gender bending agendas, no promotion of multiculture but Russian culture, no criminally insane invasions of souvereign countries, etc., etc. I mean even you can CLEARLY see the difference, no?

So if Russian poltics are being controlled by these NGO’s, as you claim, then I wish our countries’ politics were controlled by the same ones.

      2. Ungenius –

Thanks. I was aware of that. The question is why they did not ban it twenty years ago, or at least in 1999 when Putin first became President?

I see it as posturing by Putin as his economy fails. He cannot afford troops in Syria anymore either. He tries to look strong when actually weak.

There are still dozens of NGOs operating in Russia…. receiving support from the same people and US Congress and NATO and Pharisee-Jew Bankers.

There are still those for LGBT perverts also:

LGBT organization Coming Out (St. Petersburg)
“The gay-rights advocacy group was fined 500,000 rubles for receiving funding from the Consulate of the Netherlands and the Embassy of Norway and engaging in “political activity.” During the trial, a group of anti-gay activists was allowed to attend the hearings and applauded each time the judges rejected the defense’s motions. The group says it will appeal.”

Lawyers for Constitutional Rights and Freedoms JURIX (Moscow)
“Its lawyers actively opposed the adoption of a ban on “homosexual propaganda” in St. Petersburg.”

As KGB top guy…. Putin would have known THIS:

The NED was the brainchild of Reagan’s CIA Director, Bill Casey. Casey wanted to create a funding mechanism to support groups inside foreign countries that would engage in propaganda and political action that the CIA had historically organized and paid for covertly. To partially replace that CIA role, the idea emerged for a congressionally funded entity that would serve as a conduit for this money. The main revenue to finance NED activities in countries like Russia, China, Myanmar, Venezuela, Uzbekistan and other places where the regime is not 100% on Washington’s music page, comes from the United States Congress. That is supplemented by such dubious organizations as George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, which seems to always pop up where the CIA and NED want to topple a regime as in Ukraine in 2013-14.

Casey wanted to be sure to hide the strings being pulled by the CIA. In a letter to Reagan’s White House Counselor, Edwin Meese III, Casey wrote, “Obviously we here [at CIA] should not get out front in the development of such an organization, nor should we appear to be a sponsor or advocate.” To hide the CIA’s role, Casey urged creation of a “National Endowment.”

      3. 1138 –

The reason I did not respond in the manner you wished is that you have not studied the NGOs. I know that because of this statement:

“So if Russian poltics are being controlled by these NGO’s, as you claim, then I wish our countries’ politics were controlled by the same ones.”

NED and other NGOs are US government-financed, NATO-financed and London’s Pharisee-Jew Banker-financed entities.

For example…. Among NED projects in Russia has been to finance Russian anti-Putin opposition activist Alexei Navalny, member of a group called Russian Opposition Coordination Council. Navalny received money from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). That is controlled opposition. Kicking out NED was for show also.

BUT….. not to be let down…
The NED has sub-units: National Republican Institute, which is headed by Senator John McCain, the man who played a key role in the 2014 USA coup d’etat in Ukraine. The National Democratic Institute, tied to USA Democratic Party and chaired now by Clinton Secretary of State and Serbian bombing advocate, Madeline Albright. The NED Board of Directors includes the kernel of the Bush-Cheney neo-conservative warhawks like Elliott Abrams; Francis Fukuyama; Zalmay Khalilzad, former Iraq and Afghan US ambassador, and architect of Afghan war; Robert Zoellick, Bush family insider and ex-World Bank President. This allows more military spending.

To claim you want the NGOs is to NOT know you already have them there in Netherlands.

To claim to want NGOs is to want NATO and US Congress and LGBT and Hillary Clinton and John McCain ruling you… 🙂

LGBT organization Coming Out (St. Petersburg)

“The gay-rights advocacy group was fined 500,000 rubles for receiving funding from the Consulate of the Netherlands and the Embassy of Norway and engaging in “political activity.” During the trial, a group of antigay activists was allowed to attend the hearings and applauded each time the judges rejected the defense’s motions. The group says it will appeal.”

I always write MY way…. not YOUR way, Mr ‘1138’… 🙂

      4. Pat,

Read “what we can observe” carefully and try to understand those words.

Internet is full of articles about things we cannot see or know. Anyone can write anything and publish it online. It’s a matter of opinion what to think of those texts. So as far as the present is concerned, I’ll just stick to what I can observe as an indicator.

      5. 1138 –

        The article IS bout Russia….

You changed the topic when you made it about where you live….
        …… even TWICE.

“Gosh, I wish such NGO’s controlled my country’s politics.”

“…. I wish our countries’ politics were controlled by the same ones.”

Sooo…. I showed you how your wish has ALREADY come true. 🙂

      6. Pat,

Wishing the same politics for my country as Russia’s is entirely ON topic.

I advise you to take a course in comprehensive reading before you make any further comments online. You repeatedly demontrate that a non-native speaker of English like me has a better understanding of that language.

  15. For what its worth, a few of the “paper tiger’s” emerging technology. There are multiple sources for these reports. These are just two I took from the web as representative of other reports read from other varied sources over the years.

One early report stated that sailors were told not to talk about the incident under the usual bogus veil of “national security”, but all 27 ship’s officers off the USS Donald “Duck” (Cook) put in for reassignment and/or retirement upon their return to shore, stating in effect, with this technology, navy ships are nothing but sitting ducks.

Note this comment as well: “Top US Commander Under Arrest For Refusing To Fire Nukes At Russia” This is the very reason insane Jews are desperately pushing the development of unmanned weapons technology and its AI counterpart.

Terrified US Aircraft Carrier Flees From Russian Subs To UK Safety

By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers

The Naval Surface Forces (NSF) of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) are reporting today that three nuclear-powered Akula-class submarines belonging to the 24th Submarine Division of the Northern Fleet (NF) successfully “war-gamed” the American aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt [photo 2nd left] causing it to “flee in terror” towards the waters off the Hampshire coast in the United Kingdom.

Within hours of the NSF reporting this critical incident, it’s interesting to note, British press sources confirmed that this US Navy behemoth of “100,000 tons of firepower” did indeed dock off Stokes Bay in Gosport stunning the thousands of spectators who jammed roads and lined the banks of the River Solent to see it, but which they, also, described as a port call, though none had been scheduled.

According to this NSF report, the USS Theodore Roosevelt, and its combat escort ships, had been detected on a course towards the operating zone of the Northern Fleet which President Putin had put on full combat alert last week in response to a “State of War” threat detected from the United Kingdom…a threat, the MoD adds to this report, was, likewise, in response to the Federations “Shock of March” battle plan revealed on 4 February.

With NATO forces, literally, lining the entire western border with troops, including the unprecedented US Army’s “Dragon Ride” armored convoy currently winding its way across six European nations, and Norway’s equally unprecedented “Joint Viking” combat war moves against the northern border, this report continues, President Putin himself gave the order to “target and disable” the USS Theodore Roosevelt.

As Russia had warned its citizens last week to prepare for nuclear war, and Moscow’s bomb shelters began to fill in response to the dire first-strike nuclear attack being planned by the US, and nearly all of the Federations military forces being on full combat alert across all 9 time zones, this report further notes, the approach of the USS Theodore Roosevelt towards the Baltic Sea made it a “legitimate” target.

To how this US aircraft carrier was “disabled” by the Northern Fleet’s attack submarines, this report says, was due to the Federations successful implementation of “magrav technology” weapons which had previously been used against American warships, and had “disabled” them too.

In fact, NSF experts in this report state, it was only a few weeks ago that the USS Theodore Roosevelt was “sunk” by a French submarine using “magrav technology” off the coast of Florida during a war game wherein the Americans were testing their countermeasures against this revolutionary new weapon prior to their ships deployment to confront Northern Fleet forces.

The necessity of the US Navy to develop countermeasures against “magrav technology”, this report says, was clearly shown to them last year after Federation air forces completely disabled the feared AEGIS destroyer USS Donald Cook in the Black Sea. So demoralizing was this attack against the USS Donald Cook, when it limped into a Romanian port for repairs, all 27 of its officers put in for reassignment and/or retirement.

“Magrav technology”, its import to note, was conceived by the Iranian-born nuclear engineer Mehran Keshe [photo 3rd left], but whose works are banned from public use in the United States under an Executive Order signed by President Obama on 23 April 2012.

President Obama’s signing of his Executive Order against “magrav technology”, it should be remembered, was due to the Iranian’s using it to down, and then capture one of the United States most secretive and sophisticated drones in December, 2011, and then Iran sharing this new weapon with Syria too.

Immediately upon President Obama banning “magrav technology” in 2012, it should also be noted, Mehran Keshe replied to the American leader in an open letter by stating:

    “Your Excellency President Obama,

We offer you a path towards real world peace through the development of this new technology for the whole human race

I invite you to a direct presentation of our technology to you and your cabinet, to be given on neutral ground where the president of Iran could also be present and where no one betrays anyone else, so that we can all understand the fundamental change that is about to be brought to mankind. Then let us talk about genuine world peace.

As I said in my Sunday interview in Los Angeles, let us convert the military factories of the US to provide resources for a US space organization, so that the tools of war become the craft of universal peace.

The aircraft carriers of the US will become nothing but floating bathtubs if our Magravs technology is used effectively, and the runways full of F16s and 18s and so on will be nothing but runway museums of iron birds, as these craft will not be able to fly if their electronic systems are once touched by Magravs space technology. These crafts and battleships would have to be rewired from A to Z before they could ever operate again.

President Obama, we invite you to understand this change and to let us show you the technology that is bringing it about. Then we invite you to the table of world peace.

Please sign a decree for genuine peace and not a gagging order for science and technology, which your people understand fully what we have developed as they try to protect the pride of your nation.

This is not a question of the pride of one group or country, but pride for all of us in the advancement of the human race to new levels of understanding of the universal order of creation, in which we each have our place.

Your Ambassador and Consul in Belgium have direct access to me from our previous talks and correspondence with them and would pass on any communication.

With kindest regards from a peace loving man who has developed this powerful technology for the good of mankind.”

Sadly, as this NSF concludes, it has cost the Obama the humiliating defeat of two of its most powerful warships since his banning of “magrav technology” in 2012, with the total disablement of the USS Donald Cook last year, the war game “sinking” of the USS Theodore Roosevelt a few weeks ago, and now, today, this same aircraft carrier floating disabled off the UK coast, to realize the truth of Mehran Keshe’s warning him that “the aircraft carriers of the US will become nothing but floating bathtubs”.

And though not stated in this report…one need look no further than it to come to a full and complete understanding of why Obama is furiously attempting to negotiate with Iran, while at the same time trying to keep his military forces from igniting World War III in order to destroy those nations who have begun using “magrav technology” weapons against them….like Russia and Iran…and (of course) the French submarine communications centre that’s already being targeted by US drones.

    The Sunburn – Iran’s Awesome
    Nuclear Anti-Ship Missile
    The Weapon That Could
Defeat The US In The Gulf
    By Mark Gaffney

    The Sunburn Missile

I was shocked when I learned the facts about these Russian-made cruise missiles. The problem is that so many of us suffer from two common misperceptions. The first follows from our assumption that Russia is militarily weak, as a result of the breakup of the old Soviet system. Actually, this is accurate, but it does not reflect the complexities. Although the Russian navy continues to rust in port, and the Russian army is in disarray, in certain key areas Russian technology is actually superior to our own. And nowhere is this truer than in the vital area of anti-ship cruise missile technology, where the Russians hold at least a ten-year lead over the US. The second misperception has to do with our complacency in general about missiles-as-weapons probably attributable to the pathetic performance of Saddam Hussein’s Scuds during the first Gulf war: a dangerous illusion that I will now attempt to rectify.

Many years ago, Soviet planners gave up trying to match the US Navy ship for ship, gun for gun, and dollar for dollar. The Soviets simply could not compete with the high levels of US spending required to build up and maintain a huge naval armada. They shrewdly adopted an alternative approach based on strategic defense. They searched for weaknesses, and sought relatively inexpensive ways to exploit those weaknesses. The Soviets succeeded: by developing several supersonic anti-ship missiles, one of which, the SS-N-22 Sunburn, has been called “the most lethal missile in the world today.”

After the collapse of the Soviet Union the old military establishment fell upon hard times. But in the late1990s Moscow awakened to the under-utilized potential of its missile technology to generate desperately needed foreign exchange. A decision was made to resuscitate selected programs, and, very soon, Russian missile technology became a hot export commodity. Today, Russian missiles are a growth industry generating much-needed cash for Russia, with many billions in combined sales to India, China, Viet Nam, Cuba, and also Iran. In the near future this dissemination of advanced technology is likely to present serious challenges to the US. Some have even warned that the US Navy’s largest ships, the massive carriers, have now become floating death traps, and should for this reason be mothballed.

The Sunburn missile has never seen use in combat, to my knowledge, which probably explains why its fearsome capabilities are not more widely recognized. Other cruise missiles have been used, of course, on several occasions, and with devastating results. During the Falklands War, French-made Exocet missiles, fired from Argentine fighters, sunk the HMS Sheffield and another ship. And, in 1987, during the Iran-Iraq war, the USS Stark was nearly cut in half by a pair of Exocets while on patrol in the Persian Gulf. On that occasion US Aegis radar picked up the incoming Iraqi fighter (a French-made Mirage), and tracked its approach to within 50 miles. The radar also “saw” the Iraqi plane turn about and return to its base. But radar never detected the pilot launch his weapons. The sea-skimming Exocets came smoking in under radar and were only sighted by human eyes moments before they ripped into the Stark, crippling the ship and killing 37 US sailors.

The 1987 surprise attack on the Stark exemplifies the dangers posed by anti-ship cruise missiles. And the dangers are much more serious in the case of the Sunburn, whose specs leave the sub-sonic Exocet in the dust. Not only is the Sunburn much larger and faster, it has far greater range and a superior guidance system. Those who have witnessed its performance trials invariably come away stunned. According to one report, when the Iranian Defense Minister Ali Shamkhani visited Moscow in October 2001 he requested a test firing of the Sunburn, which the Russians were only too happy to arrange. So impressed was Ali Shamkhani that he placed an order for an undisclosed number of the missiles.

The Sunburn can deliver a 200-kiloton nuclear payload, or: a 750-pound conventional warhead, within a range of 100 miles, more than twice the range of the Exocet. The Sunburn combines a Mach 2.1 speed (two times the speed of sound) with a flight pattern that hugs the deck and includes “violent end maneuvers” to elude enemy defenses. The missile was specifically designed to defeat the US Aegis radar defense system. Should a US Navy Phalanx point defense somehow manage to detect an incoming Sunburn missile, the system has only seconds to calculate a fire solution not enough time to take out the intruding missile. The US Phalanx defense employs a six-barreled gun that fires 3,000 depleted-uranium rounds a minute, but the gun must have precise coordinates to destroy an intruder “just in time.”

The Sunburn’s combined supersonic speed and payload size produce tremendous kinetic energy on impact, with devastating consequences for ship and crew. A single one of these missiles can sink a large warship, yet costs considerably less than a fighter jet. Although the Navy has been phasing out the older Phalanx defense system, its replacement, known as the Rolling Action Missile (RAM) has never been tested against the weapon it seems destined to one day face in combat. Implications For US Forces in the Gulf.

    1. Good get scared stories..!!
We had better give Pentagon several more $$Trillion…. so ‘Rummy-types’ can run off with it…. straight to Goldman Sachs…. so they can trade for bonds with the US Treasury…. for FRNs.

Scary Cuban Missile Crisis times 1000 = Huge military support = taxes.

‘Rumsfeld couldn’t talk about it either… top secret $$Trillions. 🙂

      1. Thanks, Pat, for the logical thinking! Both you and I know that any ordinance logistics are NOT disclosed except for calculated reaction. (Hell, even the accurate range of the howitzer on an M1 Abrams tank, or the crush depth on one of your subs is classified information!)

All these fearful stats and specs are carefulfully considered for public consumption…

  16. The US, NATO and Russia are all big partners in business.

US firms like Rudy Giuliani’s have Energized the Caspian and CIS for decades. They help Russia and CIS set up banking and stock markets and write their BUSINESS LAW for them.

Bracewell & Giuliani LLP of Houston, set up offices in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in 1997.

Bracewell & Giuliani chose to open its CIS office in Kazakhstan, mainly because projects there in which they had been involved provided “a wonderful base, context, knowledge and contacts” says Vojack.

“It was natural for us to continue on and practice law in Kazakhstan rather than going to Moscow,” he says.

As a new lawyer seeking opportunities for Bracewell, Vojack, who speaks conversational Russian, went to Moscow with business expertise gained through negotiating deals for Minneapolis-based Honeywell Corp. from 1979 on. (Honeywell has been in Russia for many decades.)

Practicing with Bracewell, he found himself in Kazakhstan by July 1994, spearheading a project to create Kazakhstan’s equivalent of the Securities and Exchange Commission, with a team of Kazakh lawyers and advisers from the United States. Bracewell then entered into a joint venture with Arthur Andersen to create the security laws for the stock exchange and Kazakhstan’s market institutions.

At the same time, Bracewell banking partner Robert L. Clarke worked with a team to help create Kazakhstan’s banking system and banking regulations.

  18. ‘Paper Bear’ goes back into hibernation… as demonstrated by Putin’s withdrawal from Syria.

“Putin recognized that his air campaign would ultimately benefit an emerging Persian/Iranian empire, rather than expanding Moscow’s influence. So, Russia has withdrawn forces from Syria.”

“…after the resignation of the Russian navy commander, Putin tells the foreign ministry to intensify their role in the peace process.”

  19. Russia is a ‘Paper Bear’ for many reasons…
One is because US Pharisee-Jews in Silver Springs, Maryland, London and New York control what the Russian people see on TV.

Russia’s TV programs bring perverted lewd sex and crimes and violence into Russian homes… just like in US and UK.

One facilitator is National Media Group(NMG), and it is one of the largest private media ‘holdings’ in Russia.

The ‘Holding’ was established in 2008 by merging media assets belonging to AB Russia, Alexey Mordashov, Surgutneftegaz, and the Sogas Insurance Group. Today NMG provides management of a diversified portfolio of assets in key segments of the Russian media market.

The National Media Group unites leading companies in the segments of TV, radio, print media and film production.

TV and radio: Channel One, 5 Channel, Ren TV, Russian News Service. NMG also manages Russian channels of Discovery group.

In 2015, NMG developed a “strategic PARTNERSHIP” with DISCOVERY Communications in the management of Russian-language channels of Discovery Group (11 channels, including Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet and Eurosport).

  20. I know, let’s have the Pentagon throw some pencil armed American women at the “paper bear”. That will scare those Russian men out of their minds with fear. What is stronger the Russian “paper bear” for the American “cardboard eagle” lead into battle by third sex officers.
