America: From Bully to Superbully

By Tom Feeley

America is a bully, or so it appears to those who live beyond our shores.

Nobody likes a bully, whether he operates in the schoolyard or in the international arena. Those who support a bully do so out of fear. Hence, bullies never have any real friends. They have followers who are intimidated by the arrogance and power of the tormenter.

There are many nations, which appear to be friendly to America, yet they wait patiently with hope in their hearts that one-day the bully will meet his match. Meanwhile, they pay homage to the bully in order that they may avoid his wrath.

To the world outside America’s borders it appears that Bin Laden strides into the schoolyard, confronts the bully and slaps his face before his tormented schoolmates. Around the globe, good people who have watched the bully in his conceit, speak of justice and democracy as if he was their inventor and the only person worthy of their benefits, are appalled to find that their horror of the event is accompanied with an inward sense of satisfaction. At last, “the bully got what was coming to him”.

In the aftermath of 9/11, America’s citizens are scared. Awakened from a dream of rampant consumerism and ignorance of world affairs, we find ourselves confused and uncertain. How could such a thing have happened? It happened because America’s democracy has been subverted, not by communists or terrorists, but by our choices. The great majority of America’s people choose to close our eyes or look away when the bully treated the people of other nations in a manner which would sicken them, had it occurred to one of their own family.

Franklin D Roosevelt said ” Just as our national policy in internal affairs has been based upon a decent respect for the rights and the dignity of all of our fellow men within our gates, so our national policy in foreign affairs has been based on a decent respect for the rights and the dignity of all nations, large and small.” If this were ever true, it certainly has not been reflected in recent U.S. foreign policy. We are pleased to bathe in the waters of prosperity and do not find it deplorable that we expect others to cleanse themselves in our dirty water.

It is deplorable that a mind set exists which allows us to think, that simply because we were born within these borders, we are somehow entitled to a enjoy a greater degree of respect and dignity than we are prepared to acknowledge are the birthright of all the world’s people. Were we to reflect a “decent respect for the rights and the dignity of all nations, large and small” we would demanded that our government mirror in its foreign policy those things, which we most value in our own personal and political lives.

The issue is not terrorism. It is injustice! America has been unjust and dishonest in its dealings with other nations. John F Kennedy said “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable”.

What is it about the American psyche that leads us to believe that we have the right to install and support unjust puppet governments throughout the world? Why do we think that we can impose our economic interests, over those of the populations of these countries? We are insane to think that we can engage in the support and sponsorship of these regimes without expecting that they would wish to retaliate.

I am not aware of one instance where “terrorism” has ever been defeated at the barrel of a gun. Northern Ireland, Israel and a host of other conflicts throughout the last century have demonstrated that these conflicts will only be resolved when each party acknowledges that the other party’s position has some validity. Discussion and compromise are the only weapons that have the capacity to defeat terrorism.

A recent Gallop poll indicated that a large portion of the people of the world perceive America as being arrogant and a bully. Yet rather than providing insight as the possible causes of “terrorism” this poll has been used exclusively to portray its participants as unbalanced and deranged. Rather than looking at the information, it provides and reflecting on the mere possibility that it may contain some nugget of truth, it is cast aside.

Our inability to look at ourselves and to contemplate that our foreign policy may be part of the problem is beyond the grasp of many of us, and those who would dare to suggest such action are immediately deemed to be subversive or supporters of “terrorism”.

The inevitable consequence of our choices will be airlifted to grieving families, who will not dare to pull the zipper on the body bag which houses their loved one. Their grief will demand vengeance. Further orders will be placed with America’s industrial war machine to better equip our poor, uneducated citizens who have been duped into believing that they are about to die for our freedoms. Our President will raise his fist and talk about how “They hate our Democracy” and “This is a war against evil” a “Just cause” as he prepares the soil to grow another generation of “terrorists”.

Peace is not just the absence of conflict but also the presence of justice, for in our world’s history, peace has never prevailed where justice was absent.

Injustice is the garden that nourishes terrorism.

A great many of us choose to engage ourselves in rampant consumerism and ignorance of world affairs. After all, who cares what is happening “over there”?

9/11 has taught us nothing.

We have become narcissistic and self centered; like the drug addict who refuses to look at himself, we rage on about how everyone is against us, and use our denial to continue our self destructive behavior. In search of another fix we roar across the world dropping bombs on anyone who may try to point out that our sickness is self-imposed.

LD:  Tom Feeley is an editor at This article, originally published in 2002, has recently been republished in order to stress the point that nothing has changed. America is still a bully under Donald Trump—if not a superbully—seeking out new worlds to conquer and new nations to bully and oppress. None of the nations Trump has recently tried to intimidate have done anything to provoke his psychopathic misbehavior but simply want to be left alone

John Pilger notes in a recent comment on RT:  “The US and its allies are [now] in a state of virtual war against China, the goal of which is to maintain supremacy in all areas of human affairs. They see a challenge in China. Undoubtedly it’s an economic challenge, but it’s not a military challenge. This 19th century view of the world that permeates Washington … has now created a war situation with China.” [LD]

  1. If a foreign company does business with Iran, the US government will block that company’s activities and may seize any US assets. This extraterritorial jurisdiction is interfering with the freedom of foreign countries and companies. It is turning many friends of America into enemies.

Regarding 911: as far as I know Bin Laden denied any involvement, when he would have gained great kudos in the Jihadi world if he had claimed responsibility.

    1. Yes, Bin Laden denied all involvement in 9/11 emphatically, even though it would have made him a hero if he had admitted he’d done it and promised more of the same. He was already dead by late 2001 (of a kidney disease in Egypt), but the US went on fabricating fake videos of him for several years after that.

  2. “….has created a war situation with China.”

By design of the “steering committee” playin’ both sides against the “middle”, i.e.; (((them)))

  3. The sooner Kosher Nostra USSA is squashed like a bug – and it will be! – the better

  4. Trump is indeed a bully, and his caricature as Biff Tannon from ‘Back to the Future’ is accurate.

Biff Tannon (wikipedia): “The character is portrayed as a towering, violent and aggressive bully who obtains what he wants by intimidating others into doing his work for him, or by cheating.”

This in many ways is Trump. The bully(or con man) who gets others to do his dirty work. For instance, “The Art of the Deal” is a 1987 book authored by Tony Schwartz and credited to Donald Trump. (see wikipedia for details) Schwartz called writing the book his “greatest regret in life, without question,” and both he and the book’s publisher, Howard Kaminsky, said that Trump had played no role in the actual writing of the book

The author of Trump’s #1 book heavily criticized Trump in the election cycle as the worst person he ever worked for, and said on national television he was a fraud. Schwartz told the truth about Trump but those complaints (observations) were brushed aside by the maddening electorate in need of a savior.

In Back to the Future part lll, Biff Tannon plays an old west bullying gunslinger with the nick name Mad Dog Tannen. and indeed Trump calls his general “Mad Dog” Mattis. Ask yourself, who calls their senior staff member (Sec. of Def.) a euphemism like ‘mad dog’. LOL Utter lunacy but a standard procedure for Trump, posturing toughness as part of his negotiating strategy. Many have noted Trump is a one trick pony. A bully who surrounds himself with the most crazed psychopaths so the opposing party is terrorized into submission and signs his deal. Except this strategy has never worked. All modern nation states have crack teams of PhD’s in psychology, remote viewing psychics, experts in diplomatic strategy, senior staff members on loan from first world nations. There is no single king personality that can be fooled anymore. North Korea (informed by Chinese and Russian advisors) knows Trump’s strategy, they didn’t cave, so Trump with a zero score card and nothing to show for, nothing to brag about in the upcoming election cycle so now he wants to buy Greenland, his latest distraction and over the top showmanship.

Trump is not extremely aggressive on the outside like Biff Tannen, he gets others to be his mad dogs on his leash like his staff picks like General Mattis. Here are some famous quotes of by mad dog Mattis (obviously a crazy shoot ’em up psychopath who rose to the top in the US military):

“It’s quite fun to shoot them, you know. It’s a hell of a hoot. It’s fun to shoot some people.”

“There are some assholes in the world that just need to be shot.”

‘I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I’ll kill you all.”

‘Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”

“There are some people who think you have to hate them in order to shoot them. I don’t think you do.”

You can not make this stuff up, Mattis is like a cartoon character out of Dr. Stangelove.

Dr. Strangelove (1964) – War Room Scene

He brings up memories of the classic nuclear bomb movie about gung ho Pentagon generals attitude of “nuke ’em till they glow and use their asses for runway lights”. Trumps roundtable and strategy is very much like that iconic movie and the doomsday weapons that Trump is authorizing, watch this clip, a dead ringer for Trump’s strategy/pyschology at play:

“the doomsday device is terrifying, completely credible, an convincing”

    Dr. Strangelove and the Bomb

Much to the surprise and dismay to his base, the sneaky snake in the grass Trump has surrounded himself with a bunch of mad dogs like Nikki Haley, Mike “pompous ass’ Pompeo, T-Rex Tillerson (CEO Exxon), and lest we forget warmonger Johnboy Bolton. Trump is a showman actor for sure and his craziness is what makes his base crazy in love with him. Trump’s sexual appetite and escapades perfectly illustrated by this clip:

Dr. Strangelove: Ratio of 10 women to each man

America is now the superbully under Trump who is making many people suffer unneedlessly as he inflames his Zionist base and fans his out of control ego to ever greater heights. Power corrupts, and power has completely corrupted America and shredded all her former high ideals and Founding Fathers vision. The lunatics have taken over the asylum, God help us all.

  5. Certain people here would apparently disagree with the gist of this essay, taking the position that “we’re all the same.”

If I understand their position correctly, they would argue there’s actually no such thing as “superbully” vis-a-vis “bully.” They would even go further, claiming there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between the most extreme oppressor and the most extremely oppressed; rather, according to them, we’re all bullies at heart, and any apparent behavioral difference inheres only in the size of the sticks that “we” bullies carry. The geopolitical implication being that if it wasn’t “us,” i.e. jew-controlled America, being the supreme global bully, it would be morally indistinguishable others, e.g. China, if they should happen to pick up a bigger stick.

In practice of course, any legitimate resistance/self-defense by the oppressed against the oppressor is portrayed as confirmation of this faux moral equivalence, and the evil persists.

This is apparently the essence of jewish-supremacist “moral reasoning.” This is why the Palestinians must be oppressed and Russia and China must be surrounded with missiles. At the personal level, this is the “justification” for the worker making bombs on the assembly line, i.e., if he wasn’t doing it somebody else would (since we’re all the same) thus he might as well do it and collect a nice paycheck. And this is apparently why there can be no peace on earth.

    1. Although I dislike agreeing with you, you’ve made a good point, Harold. YES. If not the USA, it would be someone else doing the same to us. The world is that way. Do you blame (((certain))) European people for getting Uncle Sam’s Big Stick turned against Germany in WWs 1&2, or was it purely American bombast?? (The answer to that question should be obvious to any partly edifyed persons.)
Nothing has changed; and we still, thank God, carry the Big Stick. What is even more important is that we keep up our “machine gun politics” to maintain it. Close the borders! Put a moratorium on immigration! It isn’t “justice” to continue bellyaching for everybody else’s advantage – just stupidity.

    2. Harold, the main reason there is no peace on earth.
Nor is there likely to be peace on earth in the future.
Individually and small groups, perhaps, but for “humanity” No. It’s Karma (aka) Natural Law.

It’s not nice to (try to) fool Mother nature. Collective ignorance of the Law is no excuse as predictably, like the sun rising and setting, this results in collective punishment.

“As long as man continues to be the ruthless destroyer of lower living beings he will never know health or peace. For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other.”

“As long as there are slaughterhouses, there will be battlefields.”

“ ‘Thou shalt not kill’ does not apply to one’s own kind only, but to all living beings; and this Commandment was inscribed in the human breast long before it was proclaimed from Sinai.”

“Don’t work against God’s intent. Man, do not pride yourself on superiority to animals; they are without sin, and you, with your greatness, defile the earth by your appearance on it, and leave the traces of your foulness after you – alas, it is true of almost every one of us!”

      Srila Prabhupada…
“To be nonviolent to human beings and to be a killer or enemy of the poor animals is Satan’s philosophy. In this age there is enmity toward poor animals, and therefore the poor creatures are always anxious. The reaction of the poor animals is being forced on human society, and therefore there is always the strain of cold or hot war between men, individually, collectively or nationally.”

      Lord Buddha…
“One who, while himself seeking happiness oppresses with violence other beings who also desire happiness, will not attain happiness hereafter.”

      1. in all fairness to Trump : Trump is not the one who dismantled American industry and shipped it to China en-masse. That has been going on since the end of Vietnam War in the mid-1970’s. The U.S. fought 2 wars with China, the proxy wars Korea and Vietnam. After fighting 2 wars with China TPTB dismantled American industry and moved American industry to China, an ENEMY country. Trump is trying to turn-around what is a disaster for the United States, the dismantling of American industry and shipping it to China en-masse. He’s the only president in a very long time who doesn’t want to hand-over everything to China and actually has the balls to stand up to China and DEMAND fairness. He is doing this and he’s surrounded by traitors who want to give away to China everything else in America. He’s hardly getting any support in his attempt to salvage what’s left of American industry after being devastated from 50 years of very treasonous policies by a lot of traitor politicians in Washington.

Anyone who doesn’t care for the animosity between China and the USA, go cry and complain to Bill Clinton and denigrate Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton took tons of money from the Chinese when he ran for president of the USA and he gave the Chinese the port of Long Beach, California, the bastard. Hillary, her Secretary of State computer was configured to send ALL of her e-mail correspondence to the Chinese government, filthy traitor bitch that she is.

With China, at least Trump is not selling us down the river to the Chinese and is trying to undo 50 years of giving away everything to China. The Chinese have become very spoiled with 50 years of traitor American politicians giving away everything to them on a silver platter. Trump is putting an end to that agenda, or trying to. At least he’s trying.

And who exactly decided that American industry “had to be” dismantled and “had to be” moved to China as a result of losing the Vietnam War? So does that mean that the Vietnam War was really about who was going to get American industry? So the Vietnam War was about deciding if American industry stayed in the USA or if American industry was going to get sent to China? As the U.S. military won every major battle in Vietnam, the decision that the USA lost the war was made at the Paris Peace talks . Looks like it was decided at the Paris Peace talks that reparations to China had to be made so American industry was dismantled and moved to China en-masse. In hindsight, the Vietnam War was really about who was going to get American industry. So who decided that the USA had to fight a proxy war with China in order to decide the fate of American industry and who decided that the USA lost the war [ considering that the U.S. military won every major battle of the war ]? Who decided that, when was it decided, where was it decided, who decided that? Did JFK realize that TPTB in the world, the powers and principalities of the world, wanted the Vietnam war as a way to give American industry to COMMUNIST China, the Vietnam War serving a smokescreen so to speak in the agenda to give away American industry to COMMUNIST China? Maybe JFK realized that and maybe that’s the reason he was assassinated, or one of the reasons he was assassinated. He was assassinated for a number of reasons.

      2. TROJ –

“And who exactly decided that American industry “had to be” dismantled and “had to be” moved to China as a result of losing the Vietnam War?”

That would be Kissinger with help from GHW Bush starting when Bush was ‘envoy’ to China in the 70s. It continued when he served THREE terms as Prezzy!! Two with Reagan tagging along to make speeches on TV! 🙂

      3. Another home run, hp. Allow me to take it a step further with something I wrote and posted here a while ago…

“When it is understood that there are an innumerable number of ‘coalescent’ realms in places reflecting Divine intent, all with their unique environments of imperishable existence, it becomes crystal clear just how appalling life on this planet has become relative to the impeccable honoring of sacredness in those sublime places.

A telling example of why Life here will go through an ‘ending’ of sorts, given its state of spiritual vacuity, concerns the deplorable condition of animals, especially those subjected to the brutal and disgusting practices of slaughterhouses with their efficient mastery in the ‘science’ of killing. Animals are the pure innocents trapped in this putrid reality, and it goes straight to the heart of Truth in stating that Life is about Life only! Nothing is more indicative of Man’s sleep-walking stupor than the inability to access his ancient memory of this.

Death is a total anathema to Creation. It is not Divinely intended for something to be created only to see it destroyed, which is to say, ‘disintegrated’, reflecting an illusion of separateness experienced in this world as it is presently constituted – a state of material de-composition indicating an existential form of enslavement acting in a manner conducive to being under a cloak of mortality.”

HA!!! “Those who live beyond our shores” who now have to support themselves, and those who do not obey agreements with the US and other countries, WOULD be hollering the loudest when forced to comply and contribute and stop taking welfare from the US!!

The strong seems like a bully or super-bully only to wimps, but not to any of the mature equals!! 🙂

  7. Here are just a few examples of the REAL bullies picking on playground RUNTS!!

    India wants Kashmir:

    China fights to get Tibet:

China is building islands in the South China Sea:

    China wants New Zealand:

    China wnts Papua New Guinea:

    Russia Wants Crimea:

    Russia wants Ukraine:

Trump is abrasive, while ‘Put-On The Punk’ is “BIGGLY” a bully! BUT – ‘Xi The Permanent Dictator’ is a “YUGE” super-bully!! 🙂

    1. Pat,
Let’s not forget that the Chinese are are making great inroads into the heart of darkness, Africa. Once the China-man has control of that vast continent the blacks not retained for labor will have been shoveled off their mortal coil or to the vanishing white lands of North America and Europe. The Chinese must hold their noses while developing their Empire in Africa. They are very sensitive and can barely stand, if at all, the musky smell of the Black African. (When teaching in the the Job Corp decades ago TJ got a whiff or two of this pungent odoriferous emanation that would bring on acute nausea and the need to run out for fresh air. Read Prof. John Baker’s book “Race” for details.)

  8. “Franklin D Roosevelt said ” Just as our national policy in internal affairs has been based upon a decent respect for the rights and the dignity of all of our fellow men within our gates, so our national policy in foreign affairs has been based on a decent respect for the rights and the dignity of all nations, large and small.”
There’s a lofty statement, eloquent beyond our wildest dreams these days…
That was back when we still had gates, which maybe says something about identity..
And, having made such a remark, I do wonder how FDR would spin it today for the Palestinians…
So – Trump’s not a real American because he won’t come clean on 9-11?
OK, but if this author still thinks Bin Laden did 9-11, where does that put him in the funhouse?
Bin Laden had nothing to do with 9-11, other than him and his big war production relatives in Saudi Arabia conspired with Bush and Cheney and Jim Baker to use it as an excuse to launch the Iraq invasion…
The hijackers came from Saudi Arabia, most of them still live there…
Colin Powell personally mainlined them into the USA, right around the normal passport process…
Bin Laden was already dead for 10 years when the SEALs raided somebody”s villa…
Almost all of them involved in the raid were killed after that… So I heard…
    America has problems alright…

  9. Ivanka Trump Pushes Gun Control, Red Flag Laws at Trump 2020 Fundraiser Headlined by Dick Cheney!

Trump “phoned into the dinner” and told the room full of GOP donors that “when you’ve Jared and Ivanka I can just phone it in.”

Ivanka “talked about ‘women’s empowerment,'” and said the White House is focusing on “background checks,” “culture shift,” “mental health” and “red flag laws.”

  10. The USA’s ability to threaten others will very likely soon be greatly limited. It’s confidence will be shaken. The stock market has been shaky for a couple of months, with very big ups and downs. America’s 22 trillion dollar debt will soon prove to be a big problem (finally) and the USA has been surpassed (just like Europe) in 5G technology. China’s Huawei wins. Trump’s tariffs on China and others are going to backfire. The stock market shakiness will very likely soon become a plunge and it may cost Trump his reelection. There is a decent chance the US will be ruled by one of the Democratic Communist loons starting next year and then the country will be driven into the ground at full speed. The neo-cons in the Democratic party and the Jewish media have made sure the party’s only good candidate, Tulsi Gabbard, won’t win so the attacks on Syria and other Israeli enemies can continue.

  11. Trump’s anti-China policies are orders from his Jewish owners who are seeing their industries threatened. Those Jews like Kissinger and GHW Bush and Clinton who shipped America’s industry overseas were agents of the Crown Jews. What Trump is doing is rekindling of the Smoot Hawley tariffs that is generally believed to have caused the Great Depression. Trump’s actions reek of desperation on the cusp of madness. The Jews who own and control the orange clown might be in a state of desperation to save the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency. China is poised to take over as world’s primary merchant and thus the Yuan will be the new reserve currency, see chart:

    1. Rothschild and his cretinous ilk don’t act out of desperation. They plan, and it looks as though the plan is to SINK the dollar 《💲》

  12. Trump is the precursor for what is yet to come. As America continues it’s descent into economic collapse and multicultural, political and racial chaos, the harbinger of the future can be found on the current mean streets of the major West Coast cities, Chicago and cities points East with Baltimore a prime example, rats and all.
When America’s one time middle class find themselves and their children digging in the garbage cans, along with the rats, of those few with means, that’s about the time that a “strong man” will step forward as the savior to rescue the people from their misery and from the clutches of the enemy du jour.
Of course this Strong man will be a front, a straw man, for those behind their walled in control fortress pulling the strings and pushing the buttons. This future world of science like fiction, with what is already in the high tech pipe line, may be a world something like a cross between HG Wells “Time Machine” and Huxley’s “Brave New World” on steroids with most people replaced with robots.
Trump has the means to save America as founded. Will he?
