The Western response to Israel’s unprovoked attack on Gaza is outrageous
Following two days of deadly Israeli air strikes on Gaza, which took the lives of 34 Palestinians and injured 111 more, including 41 children and 16 women, Western response to the Israeli violence was outrageous to say the least.
whose family were driven out of Palestine
by the Jewish land grabbers in 1948
Despite the fact that Israel suffered zero causalities during the assault, the US ambassador to Israel saw fit to defend the Israeli assault. Perhaps the honorable ambassador should read today’s column (11/16/19) by Haaretz columnist Jack Khouri, titled “What do we tell kids who lost classmates in an Israeli strike?”
Then, two of 2020 presidential candidates, Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg, decided to jump on the bandwagon to defend the Israeli aggression.. Suddenly, out of the blue came a statement by the EU condemning the Palestinians for firing rockets into Israel in retaliation — with no reference to Israel’s unprovoked air strikes.
Are Palestinians supposed to raise the white flag and surrender to the brutal killers of their own people?
ONE MORE VICTIM OF ISRAELI MASS MURDER
The EU statement read, “The firing of rockets on the civilian population [of Israel] is totally unacceptable and must immediately stop.”
No reference to the civilian population of Gaza who may be killed, it seems, with impunity.
Is it nor bizarre that US and EU officials feel it is OK for Israel to bomb civilian targets in Gaza? but that Palestinians have no right to defend themselves by firing back?
Are the lives of Israeli citizens so much more precious than those of Palestinians?
Are Palestinians to submit to indiscriminate butchery like helpless cattle trapped in a slaughterhouse?
SHAME ON ISRAEL!
Using the US and EU officials’ logic of blaming the Palestinians for “violence” in self-defense, is like blaming a rape victim for punching her rapist in the face to get him to stop molesting her! An inversion of logic and a violation of human rights so extreme that I cannot help feeling that a day of reckoning for Israel must surely come soon.
The West may take pleasure in despising the will of God, protector of the weak and oppressed, but it believes in karma and the divine law of retribution.
This is my belief, here is the faith I would die for:
Not only will Israel reap what it sows one day, but America and Europe will also reap the bitter fruits of their support for the terrorist regime that runs amok today in Occupied Palestine, making life unbearable for the victims of this carnage.
