THE FLY’S LAST SONG:
A Nursery Rhyme
by XANADU
Buzz-buzz-buzz
Here I go
Into knowledge
I don’t know
Into wisdom
See me fly
Fold my little
Wings and die
Maya and Lila
Sisters two
Spin the web
For me and you
Multiverses
And Big Bang
These the songs
I never sang
Lovely songs
I could have sung
Never sang
Lost in dung
Farewell farewell
To cruel world
Into darkness
See me hurled
Into boundless
Abyss I
Tossed in terror
Me dung fly
Tangle strangle
Mangle me
Obliterate
Me misery
Heigh-ho heigh-ho
Here I come
Lord of Terror
Strike me dumb
Into Web
I don’t know why
Helter skelter
See me fly
Have mercy on
My wretched soul
Lord of Horror
Make me whole
Goodbye sun
Goodbye moon
Spider Spider
Eat me soon
What a lovely poem !!
White fragrance
Oh, white fragrance
Fire burn
Fire burn
White smoke
White day
White flower bloomed
Oh this day you were so fussy
White fragrance this morning
Who will tax you
Who will tax you
Ooooooo!
You wear the sun in your hair
You wear it so well
Pedal pedal
Ride ride ride
Race race race
White flower
Oh, white flower
Fire burn the sadness
Which would spoil the day
White curse
Wish wash
You wear the sun in your hair
Don’t frown
Don’t cry
Oh, don’t cry
White fragrance
White fragrance
Fire burn the evil which would spoil the day.
A spell to expel evil

Well done! Loved your poem! The nostalgic idealism of it . . . Obviously the memory of some beautiful young girl,
in the springtime of her lily-like innocence . . . wafting by! 🙂
Yes, quite a contrast to the Blake-like grand guignol of Xanadu’s weird ‘nursery rhyme’ poem which has a haunting musicality to it. Someone should put this to elfin music and chant it like a mantra to the dark faerie gods!
To get the music of the poem, it needs to be sung like an incantation. With a slight end pause after every line. This is what I’d describe as “mantric poetry”.
It must NOT be read like prose — that spoils the entire effect!
For example, I’d describe this as hauntingly mantric and musical if chanted with the stresses laid on the TWO correct syllables:
Each line has two stresses and needs to be recited like this:
Thank You & you will not venture one of your own for us to enjoy !!
My son Joseph Fragos – google images & see his pix – he is the beautiful guy in the blue shirt – he died a little over a year ago.
The entrance music I chose was The Humming Chorus from Giacomo’ Puccini’s Madam Butterfly.
It is what angels sing when you die.
We walked into a chapel full of angels.
Google Geisha Humming Chorus & look at the makeup I have decided to wear the red to enhance my eyebrows & my lips.
The Geisha Look.
Wonderfully playful, witty and sly.
Tis another sticky wicket you’ve gotten us into!

#23) Spider…
Spider builds a beautiful web from his heart through the mouth; play and enjoys with it and then after some time swallow that very same web.
Teaches:
Lord Supreme creates material universe from His Maya, preserves it and after a while draws it back into the Self. The Supreme Self has no desires and is beyond the reach of cause and effect.
Thank You also I am honored & i shall bring another tomorrow if I may.
