The Angry Arab:
US Violated Unspoken Rule of Engagement with Iran

“DEATH  TO  AMERICA!”

Something big and unprecedented has happened in the Middle East after the assassination of one of Iran’s top commanders, Qasim Suleimani.

The U.S. has long assumed that assassinations of major figures in the Iranian “resistance-axis” in the Middle East would bring risk to the U.S. military-intelligence presence in the Middle East.  Western and Arab media reported that the U.S. had prevented Israel in the past from killing Suleimani.  But with the top commander’s death, the Trump administration seems to think a key barrier to U.S. military operations in the Middle East has been removed.

The U.S. and Israel had noticed that Hizbullah and Iran did not retaliate against previous assassinations by Israel (or the U.S.) that took place in Syria (of Imad Mughniyyah, Jihad Mughniyyah, Samir Quntar); or for other attacks on Palestinian and Lebanese commanders in Syria.

The U.S. thus assumed that this assassination would not bring repercussions or harm to U.S. interests. Iranian reluctance to retaliate has only increased the willingness of Israel and the U.S. to violate the unspoken rules of engagement with Iran in the Arab East.

For many years Israel did perpetrate various assassinations against Iranian scientists and officers in Syria during the on-going war. But Israel and the U.S. avoided targeting leaders or commanders of Iran. During the U.S. occupation of Iraq, the U.S. and Iran collided directly and indirectly, but avoided engaging in assassinations for fear that this would unleash a series of tit-for-tat.

But the Trump administration has become known for not playing by the book, and for operating often according to the whims and impulses of President Donald Trump.

HOW  THE  US  ASSASSINATED  GENERAL  SOLEIMANI

—   §   —

The decision to strike at Baghdad airport, however, was a different level of escalation.

In addition to killing Suleimani it also killed Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, a key leader of Hashd forces in Iraq. Like Suleimani, al-Muhandis was known for waging the long fight against ISIS. Despite this, the U.S. media only give credit to the U.S. and its clients who barely lifted a finger in the fight against ISIS.

On the surface of it, the strike was uncharacteristic of Trump.

Here is a man who pledged to pull the U.S. out of the Middle East turmoil — turmoil for which the U.S and Israel bear the primary responsibility. And yet he seems willing to order a strike that will guarantee intensification of the conflict in the region, and even the deployment of more U.S. forces.

The first term of the Trump administration has revealed the extent to which the U.S. war empire is run by the military-intelligence apparatus. There is not much a president — even a popular president like Barack Obama in his second term — can do to change the course of empire.

It is not that Obama wanted to end U.S. wars in the region, but Trump has tried to retreat from Middle East conflicts . . .  and yet he has been unable to do so, due to pressures not only from the military-intelligence apparatus but also from their war advocates in the U.S. Congress and Western media, D.C. think tanks and the human-rights industry.

The pressures to preserve the war agenda is too powerful on a U.S. president for it to cease in the foreseeable future.

But Trump has managed to start fewer new wars than his predecessors — until this strike.

(Thought bubble)
‘Sorry folks, I’m not in control . . . the warmongers call the shots!’

—   §   —

Trump in his foreign policy is obsessed with the legacy and image of Obama.

He decided to violate the Iran nuclear agreement (which carried the weight of international law after its adoption by the UN Security Council) largely because he wanted to prove that he is tougher than Obama, and also because he wanted an international agreement that carries his imprint.  Just as Trump relishes putting his name on buildings, hotels, and casinos he wants to put his name on international agreements. His decision, to strike at a convoy carrying perhaps the second most important person in Iran was presumably attached to an intelligence assessment that calculated that Iran is too weakened and too fatigued to strike back directly at the U.S.

Iran faced difficult choices in response to the assassination of Suleimani.  On the one hand, Iran would appear weak and vulnerable if it did not retaliate and that would only invite more direct U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iranian targets.

On the other hand, the decision to respond in a large-scale attack on U.S. military or diplomatic targets in the Middle East would invite an immediate massive U.S. strike inside Iran. Such an attack has been on the books; the U.S military (and Israel, of course) have been waiting for the right moment for the U.S. to destroy key strategic sites inside Iran.

Furthermore, there is no question that the cruel U.S.-imposed sanctions on Iran have made life difficult for the Iranian people and have limited the choices of the government, and weakened its political legitimacy, especially in the face of vast Gulf-Western attempts to exploit internal dissent and divisions inside Iran. (Not that dissent inside Iran is not real, and not that repression by the regime is not real).

Nonetheless, if the Iranian regime were to open an all-out war against the U.S., this would certainly cause great harm and damage to U.S. and Israeli interests.

Iran Sending Messages

In the last year, however, Iran successfully sent messages to Gulf regimes (through attacks on oil shipping in the Gulf, for which Iran did not claim responsibility, nor did it take responsibility for the pin-point attack on ARAMCO oil installations) that any future conflict would not spare their territories.

That quickly reversed the policy orientations of both Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which suddenly became weary of confrontation with Iran, and both are now negotiating (openly and secretively) with the Iranian government.  Ironically, both the UAE and Saudi regimes — which constituted a lobby for war against Iran in Western capitals — are also eager to distance themselves from U.S. military action against Iran.  And Kuwait quickly denied that the U.S. used its territory in the U.S. attack on Baghdad airport, while Qatar dispatched its foreign minister to Iran (officially to offer condolences over the death of Suleimani, but presumably also to distance itself and its territory from the U.S. attack).

The Iranian response was very measured and very specific.  It was purposefully intended to avoid causing U.S. casualties; it was intended more as a message of Iranian missile capabilities and their pin point accuracy. And that message was not lost on Israel.

Hasan Nasrallah, the leader of Hizbullah, sent a more strident message.

He basically implied that it would be left to Iran’s allies to engineer military responses. He also declared a war on the U.S. military presence in the Middle East, although he was at pains to stress that U.S. civilians are to be spared in any attack or retaliation.

Supporters of the Iran resistance axis have been quite angry in the wake of the assassination.  The status of Suleimani in his camp is similar to the status of Nasrallah although Nasrallah — due to his charisma and to his performance and the performance of his party in the July 2006 war — may have attained a higher status.

It would be easy for the Trump administration to ignite a Middle East war by provoking Iran once again, and wrongly assuming that there are no limits to Iranian caution and self-restraint.  But if the U.S. (and Israel with it or behind it) were to start a Middle East war, it will spread far wider and last far longer than the last war in Iraq, which the U.S. is yet to complete.

    1. The Israel Lobby wants America to attack Iran, and Trump seems to agree. With the buildup of US forces in the region it will probably happen.

The US forces could wipe out Iran in one hour and leave the country in ruins. So the Iranians do not want war, but Trump and the Israel Lobby do.

      3. ISRAEL WILL NOT BE WIPED OUT!!
‘Put-On’ will support and protect ISRAEL as he will appoint himself President for decades!!

        ***YESTERDAY***…….
        Netanyahu greets ‘Put-On’:
        ‘Welcome to Jerusalem’
PM meets with Russian leader on the occasion of the World Holocaust Forum!!

Netanyahu met with Russian leader ‘Put-On’ upon his arrival in Israel, welcoming him to Jerusalem.

‘Put-On’ is in Israel to participate in the World Holocaust Forum …. commemorating the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, and to inaugurate a memorial for casualties of the Siege of Leningrad during World War II.

The meeting between the two leaders is taking place at the Prime Minister’s Residence on Balfour Street, and will apparently also see the presence of Yaffa Issachar, the mother of Naama, who is being held in Russian prison.

“Sara and I are happy to welcome you to our home in Jerusalem and thank you for the strong connection between Russia and Israel which serves our nations and states, and peace and security in the region. Welcome to Jerusalem,” Netanyahu said.

‘Put-On’ thanked Netanyahu for the invitation and added, “We regularly work with the PM and have planned to come to Israel for a long time. I am sure that the visit will help advance relations between Israel and Russia and, of course, today we remember the victims of the Holocaust.”

      1. And that will apply to Canadians too. Also Brits. I doubt if YOU would be safe if you travelled in the Middle East.

      2. Hi Dave,
True, Brits are also targets for jihadists, as recent events in London show, but the USA has pride of place as the prefered target.

        This as all about Israel..

  2. What concerns me most about war with Iran is that it will create an outpouring of refujews from occupied Palestine, and they will descend on USA! 😱

  3. I don’t put too much stock’s on Hezbollah statement. If they want to retaliate for Soleimani’s assassination, they would not be advertising. Just do like Alshahbab did. It was only our after Soleimani’s death, 3 American (one military) were killed in a Kenyan military base, not to mentioned 5 aircrafts went into smoke. Hitting a soft target in Europe is the max what Hezbollah can do.

  4. “The first term of the Trump administration has revealed the extent to which the U.S. war empire is run by the military-intelligence apparatus. There is not much a president — even a popular president like Barack Obama in his second term — can do to change the course of empire.”

So if Trump and Putin were to change places tomorrow, Putin would all of a sudden be seen giving orders to commit war crimes against Syria, Iran and Iraq; war crimes that risk WW3? And Trump in Moscow would be seen pleading for restraint and respect for sovereignty and international law?

“It is not that Obama wanted to end U.S. wars in the region, but Trump has tried to retreat from Middle East conflicts . . . and yet he has been unable to do so, due to pressures not only from the military-intelligence apparatus but also from their war advocates in the U.S. Congress and Western media, D.C. think tanks and the human-rights industry.”

So Trump really wants out of the Mideast? He’s truly a man of peace, but he’s totally powerless; completely politically impotent? Thus he can’t do any of the things he planned to do in the realm of foreign policy to “make America great again”?

In that case why doesn’t he just resign, rather than be so humiliated? Or at least, why should he run for reelection for a political office where he has no control whatsoever, but has to take personal responsibility for everything that he is forced to do (against his will)? It makes no sense to me.

    1. Harold, you make a lot of sense. The idea that Trump is just a helpless puppet doing his best to keep the peace but being forced to make war against his will is logically untenable. As you say, why not just resign if he’s such a peace-loving gent? Oh, I know! He’s hanging in there, because his successor would be even worse. And he’s holding the fort. Could that be it, Harold?

I don’t think so. Trumpo is big show-off who needs to show the American masses that he’s a real tough he-man. Only way to get reelected is to start a war before an election. That’s what Bill Clinton did, boosting his popularity at once. Second thing. Maybe Trump actually enjoys all the bombing and stuff. Assassinating Solemani probably turned him on.

For the Jews, it’s now or never. Iran is weak. Relatively speaking, compared to the US. If Iran retaliates to provocations, the US just bombs the country to hell, destroying its infrastructure and setting it back 50 years. Result? Israel prospers. All military threats in the Middle East removed. Israel then expands its territories and grabs hold of a few oilfields. And America takes the rest.

There’s a calculated risk that Russia and China may intervene. My feeling is that they won’t. They’re not ready for WWIII. They won’t want to make Hitler’s mistake and go to war prematurely. Countries are best advised to go to war only when there’s no chance of losing.

  5. HS
    I get your point 100%…
What does all this continuing BS in the Middle East mean to a bunch of good ole boys from the Way Out West, and boy ain’t we all sick and tired of hearing about a lot of stupid people’s bad behavior?
That’s the chord Trump struck with the voters….
His lack of enthusiasm for these endless conflicts sure sounded good…
But if that’s how he really feels, he’s apparently powerless to change things….
Nobody’s innocent over there. But first off – he would have to put the Zion in their place…

    1. Bark –

It’s a target-rich environment over there… MANY folks worth shooting! As a diligent commander-in-chief, Trump realizes the necessity for our soldiers to stay in practice! 😉

    2. @ Barkingdeer

Wise words, BD! Bt the last thing Trump will ever do is “put Zion in its place.” Everything he has done so far is to advance the interests of Zion. His grandchildren are Jews. Remember that. He’s in a Jewish family. Put Zion in its place? Not a hope. Not a chance.

      1. SAKI,
Guess Not.. Trump is the ZION…
He did have a lot of the other stuff right though.. Whether he ever really intended to secure the borders (one thing) it doesn’t really look like it now…
Now if there was just someone to come along with Trump’s good ideas – slap the media, secure the borders, fix the trade imbalance, bring back the manufacturing, and who would put the Jews back in their cages – like call out the Jew media, put real conditions on their aid to Yisrayel, kill all duel citizenship, reduce their numbers in government a population proportional and of course kill the fed bank and irs, then we’d be getting somewhere..
I still think Trump the American Tycoon-Type, a part of him, would rather fix things…
In any case, we can see we’re only getting the ZION Approved version…

      2. @ Barkingdeer

You speak words of wisdom. All you say is correct and undeniable. But cheer up! ….. Trump will be gone soon, in the not too distant future, like last year’s plastic garbage.

  6. How many Presidents have had a foreign policy plank in their campaign platform that said, “No more American foreign wars !” ? The list is long and distinguished, with both parties. Even Tulsi Gabbard herself, if by a fluke got elected POTUS, would be just like Trump and all the rest. I believe that the intelligence agencies and MIC basically buffalo them into doing these things for the most part. To such a degree that they are compelled to to it. They make it look like “it’s the obvious thing to do”. Or perhaps there are also subtle coercions. Regardless of how, they get it done.

    1. If this is the case why did they feel the need to murder JFK? Why couldn’t they just “buffalo (him)” into doing whatever they wanted?

      1. JFK escalated US involvement in Vietnam through the MAAG program from just under a thousand military advisors in 1959 to 16,000 in 1963 and he tried to invade Cuba at the Bay of Pigs in 1961. Maybe he was just too slow with his foreign aggression for their liking or killed for reasons other than foreign policy.

      2. Trump does not really want the U.S. military out of the Mideast. Trump is so full of sh*t. Israel/the jews want the U.S. military in the Middle East, and Trump who is a die-hard ZIONIST and his whole family are die-hard ZIONISTS , so Trump and his whole family want the U.S. military in the Middle East. Trump is just drooling to start a war with Iran. He would have started a war against Iran already except a war with Iran might result in the Iranians launching missiles at precious Jew Israel. Trump and ilk are trying their darndest trying to figure out how to start a war against Iran without it having any negative impact on Trump’s precious Jew Israel. That a war against Iran might have a negative impact on the United States is not a consideration. That Americans would get killed in a war against Iran is not a consideration. A war against Iran might have a negative impact on Israel and maybe some Jews in Israel will get killed [ from Iranian missiles ], and that’s the reason Trump is hesitant to start a war against Iran. But he definitely wants to attack Iran, he’s drooling to destroy Iran. He’s trying to figure out how to have a war against Iran without any Jew casualties. F*ck jew Trump and his whole family of jew sc*mbags.

      3. Commentator Mike

“JFK escalated US involvement in Vietnam through the MAAG program from just under a thousand military advisors in 1959 to 16,000 in 1963 and he tried to invade Cuba at the Bay of Pigs in 1961. Maybe he was just too slow with his foreign aggression for their liking or killed for reasons other than foreign policy.”

First, that’s all beside the point. The point was that he had to be assassinated because he apparently couldn’t be “buffaloed” in some important sense – which disproves the theory propounded by so many people that once a person is elected president, he somehow becomes a robot with no will of his own (and is thus not morally responsible for anything he does or fails to do).

Second, if you’re going to list the reasons why JFK may have been assassinated, it’s odd that you somehow missed the most likely one: his opposition to Israel getting nukes.

      4. Homer –

Fates of CIA ‘breakers & scatterers’ are less hazardous now that the drug-running ‘POPPY’ Bush is gone. He was at the scene.

      5. Pat, “Poppy!” What a coinky-dink of a handle for our first (cia) President!
Then came Shrub and Afghanistan. A (cia) ever increasing windfall since early 2000’s.

I’ve read some pretty extravagant claims as to the amounts of tax free $$ generated.
Those ships, aircraft, (secret bases) and who knows what else aren’t cheap to buy and maintain. Rumor has it the price of (UFO)
        are out of this world!

Nowadays a person doesn’t even have to threaten to break up the (cia) rather just threaten their profit margin. Same as it ever was.

Of course you know all this and no doubt even more.

      6. Harold
JFK was on the verge of blowing the whistle on the whole shebang of a shithouse, ESPECIALLY the Federal Reserve set-up which makes the whole shithouse go.
My thinking is that his election was the last legitimate one, and that (((they’ve))) made sure to get their boy (or girl) in office ever since. They locked it down
There was this American comedian, who has since passed, named Bill Hicks. He once did a skit where the new President-Elect was brought to a back room at the White House, and asked to take a seat. The room was then darkened, and a film projector started rolling to show the Zapruder home movie of JFKs assassination. When the movie had ended, a voice from the back of the room said, “any questions?”

      7. Cobber
I seriously doubt that this really happened. But it does reflect a brilliant and telling observation made by an unheralded comedic genius, Bill Hicks. I highly recommend looking for his stage acts wherever you may find them. A genuinely funny guy. You tube perhaps?

      8. @ Circassian

        In answer to your questions:

QUESTION 1: Is the standoff between “Trumpites” and “Clintonites” fake or real?

MY ANSWER: It seems to be real, but on balance I think it’s fake. Hillary was deliberately set up to be unelectable, knowing she was expected to play the part of “Mad Hillary”, so that Trump could get elected. Trump was the Deep State’s choice. He was to serve the Deep State’s agenda and do exactly what he told. In short, a pliant puppet.

The same tactic was used in England recently to get Boris Johnson elected. His competitor, Jeremy Corbyn, made himself deliberately unelectable so as to make it impossible for the British public to choose him.

      9. @ Circassian

QUESTION 2: If it is fake, what is the purpose of this shell game?

QUESTION 3: If the standoff is real, what is the difference between these two camps (from philosophical, political, and any other points of views you can elaborate on)?

MY ANSWER: I have already answered these questions in part above. The stand-off between Trump and Hillary is fake because the idea was to get Trump elected by making Hillary unelectable. As far as I can see, both camps are in all essentials indistinguishable in this sense. Though the Democrats are superficially for the poor and downtrodden masses, especially for immigrants, and the Republicans are unashamedly for the rich elite, both parties will ultimately make sure of two things:

        (1) that the Jews remain in control and manage to flood the country with more immigrants, legal as well as illegal, and turn America into a multicultural zoo under Jewish stewardship;

and (2) that the white elite will continue to get richer and richer along with the Jewish elite. On no account is the yawning gap between rich and poor to be closed or diminished. The rich will continue to get richer at the expense of the poor. At least 80 per cent of America’s population, white as well as non-white, will be reduced to the level of degenerate slaves — spending all their time watching trash TV, getting drunk, taking drugs, consuming porn, and f***ing each other to death. How better to control the masses except but by making them degenerate wastrels?

      10. @ Circassian

QUESTION 4: Considering that Americans do not have a third option (as of now, at least) which one is lesser evil for America – “Trumpism” or “Clintonism”? If both options are fatal for America, is any hope that the unipolar world order (aka Anglo-American Empire) will survive?

MY ANSWER: I’ll say this. You ask remarkably intelligent questions. Ultimately, there’s no real difference between “Trumpism” and “Clintonism”, only superficial dissimilarities to deceive the masses into thinking they have a choice between two ways. But the two ways lead back by a roundabout route to the same destination. The idea is to keep kidding the masses that they live in a democracy. And yes, as you yourself hint, both options or ways are equally fatal to America and the unipolar world order — the anglo-American empire — will not survive. Nor does it deserve to survive since it is based on deception, exploitation, and ruthless mass cruelty.

The best thing America could do is to return to the traditional ways of their Christian ancestors and their noble Founding Fathers. Small hope of that as long as the country remains under the iron heel of the Jewish parasite.

      11. @ Circassian

QUESTION 5: If the Empire is doomed, is there any real force in the world – except Putin’s Russia that is – who can offer an alternative and better view on the future of the world?

MY ANSWER: I know what you want me to say: that Putin’s Russia offers the only hope. I would like to believe this, having conceived a certain admiration for Putin, but I am not altogether sure that Putin is the new Messiah who will restore order and sanity to a sick world. Putin is a dark horse, an unknown quantity, and several bad things are said about which could be true. What then?

I am all for Putin if he is 100 per cent behind the Russian Orthodox Church and has a genuine reverence for Jesus Christ and traditional values, but my respect for Putin would die at once and turn to horror if I found out he was a diehard Stalinist and doing all he can to promote the current Stalin cult in Russia. Christianity and Stalinism are absolutely and totally incompatible to me — like worshipping Christ and Satan at the same time.

I know you and I have diametrically opposite views on Stalin. And here we must choose to differ.

I hope I have answered your questions.

      12. @ Cobber

You have answered these questions admirably. Circassian is free to respond. I hope he will take this opportunity to behave responsibly. I don’t like deleting this highly intelligent Russian’s comments but am often forced to do so to maintain order.

      13. @ Brownhawk

“JFK was on the verge of blowing the whistle on the whole shebang of a shithouse, ESPECIALLY the Federal Reserve set-up which makes the whole shithouse go.”

Being that it’s all beside the point, I don’t want to go off topic and get bogged down in a speculative discussion about which of JFK’s various heresies was most responsible for what happened to him. But just FYI, it was apparently JFK’s letter of May 18, 1963 (which was basically a threat that if U.S. inspectors don’t get access to Dimona, Israel would be “totally isolated” or something like that), that caused Ben-Gurion to abruptly resign.

“My thinking is that his election was the last legitimate one, and that (((they’ve))) made sure to get their boy (or girl) in office ever since. They locked it down”

What about the elections that brought jewish agents Woodrow Wilson and FDR to power? Were they “legitimate”?

“There was this American comedian, who has since passed, named Bill Hicks. He once did a skit where the new President-Elect was brought to a back room at the White House, and asked to take a seat. The room was then darkened, and a film projector started rolling to show the Zapruder home movie of JFKs assassination. When the movie had ended, a voice from the back of the room said, ‘any questions?'”

I can see how that would be great material for a short skit, but reality is more complicated.

      14. Harold

        “….reality is more complicated”…

No shit, Sherlock! I’m simply contributing info of that which comprises the TOTALITY of the reality

Did anyone ever tell you that you have an annoying habit of nipicking your way to coming across as one with a superior view of everything? Oh, my bad, I guess I just did😆

      15. Calm down, dear Brownhawk! Harold means well. He’s not “nitpicking”, he’s being conciliatory and polite. You’re beginning to resemble Lobro, expecting fine words and flattery for everything you say. Don’t go down that route, Big Chief. It doesn’t suit you.

      16. Harold

Just to follow up, Wilson and FDR ended up buying into (((their))) agenda from the get go. Wilson later deeply regretted it. Whereas JFK smelled a rat when an unbearable odor emanated up from under the pile and he decided to throw all caution to the wind when his conscience would brook nothing less.

        Is that better? 🙄

      17. As you say, Madame. But Harold’s “conciliation” seems unnecessary to me. I suppose it’s just his style. But hey, I can appreciate the “suit”, but it doesn’t mean I have to wear it (:>)

      18. President Trump has just called for the firing of longtime New York Times columnist Paul Krugman in a tweet last Sunday. Hmmm, whose side do I take, a Nobel Prize Winning economist or the founder of Trump university who also filed for 4 bankruptcies? I don’t remember former President Obama ever making threats against people or telling newspapers to fire reporters who criticized him during his 8 years in office.

  7. DOODS

what’s obviously lacking on the other hand is the big, terribly interesting and yeasty symposium for de-escalation, amelioration and reform of the methodology to eliminate the systemic causes of the bad outcomes….
And i don’t understand why the perhaps lesser players on the geopolitical stage do not put their own such meeting together.
Of course we understand there will be more than one culprit uninterested in any of that, taking up space in the chambers and in fact shooting that prarie dog when he sticks his head up over the the walls of his cubicle..
    The Usual Suspects…
First on the list we have the ZION.

  8. My thesis is that “time is of the essence”, and a policy of patience will favour Iran more than the US, even though the former is suffering from sanctions and internal pressures.

I admit to never having even visited the US. Nevertheless, my reading of many web sites seems to indicate a very unstable society that needs to prosecute its agenda as soon as possible before internal problems of its own escalate and become unmanagable.

What internal problems? Socialist state governments on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, gross violation of human dignity and life in the form of abortions and trade in body parts, corrupt federal politicians, porous borders, massive public and private debt, an overworked and underpaid proletariat, etc, etc, etc. Totally disfunctional.

Haste, then, with these pressures of its own, could be the undoing of the US. It could act precipitously and against its own interests.

And Iran, if it wants to survive, will need to take a lot slaps on the face while it waits out its more powerful rival. It may be well advised to keep accepting these insults meted out to it until the US collapses.

  9. Hi Jake,
I am a Brit and visit the USA regularly. I find that most Americans I speak to are very much against more wars and are now turning against Trump, even those who voted for him in 2016.

    1. wouldn’t your observation that “most Americans … are very much against more wars and are now turning against Trump, even those who voted for him in 2016” indicate that the Jew-run Deep State and 450-person NSC, whittled down to 45 by Trump just days before the drone strike picked off 2 flies with one shot?

Soleimani, whom “Good Jews” wanted dead for years—gone.
Trump, whom they’ve been actively undermining, running a sham impeachment and media campaign against, suddenly voted out this November if they couldn’t get rid of him by other means—gone.

What’s not to like by the League of Antichrist?
Curious, because all the other explanations make no sense to me, for example, how does this fit:
“I’d Like To See Them Call Me”: How Trump Used An Encrypted Swiss Fax Machine To Defuse The Iran Crisis

Even as Trump was rage-tweeting on Jan 4, two days after the killing of Iran’s top military leader Qassem Soleimani, that he would hit 52 targets including Iranian heritage sites for potential retaliation if America suffered losses following an Iranian attack, warning that “those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD”, the US president was busy, secretly using an encrypted back-channel to bring the world back from the brink of war.

      1. @ Lobro

“Curious, because all the other explanations make no sense to me, for example, how does this fit: ‘I’d Like To See Them Call Me…'”

Simple: Trump gambled yet again and lost, yet again. What else was he going to say?

Apparently in keeping with long-standing tradition, in order to start a devastating war – an unjust war which may become WW3 – Trump and his handlers need to display a significant number of dead Americans; dead at the hands of the diabolical enemy du jour.

So just like the last time (back in June 2019 when the Iranians shot down the unmanned drone but not the manned P-8 plane), Trump was forced to back down.

      2. I may be the world’s stupidest pundit but you’ll never find me sharing their bed—I am their photographic negative, what you get when exposing Jew to daylight.

Well, if you are as stupid as most people here think you are (!) — and as your “article” clearly demonstrates (!) — maybe it would be wise not to call yourself a “pundit”. No doubt it’s me who’s the stupid one here for failing to be impressed by your self-proclaimed genius! 🙂 (Smile)

        https://www.darkmoon.me/uploads/unnamed-12-1024×743.jpg

    2. I find that too in my travels. Only the more stupid Americans still tend to back Trump. The more illiterate and uneducated ones. Anyway, that’s my experience. The smarter Americans are wising up.

      1. It is not clear to me what Cobber’s ultimate position is, so I would like to ask literate and educated Cobber to educate us about his views on the following:

        1. Is the standoff between “Trumpites” and “Clintonites” fake or real?

        2. If it is fake, what is the purpose of this shell game?

        3. If the standoff is real, what is the difference between these two camps (from philosophical, political, and any other points of views you can elaborate on)?

        4. Considering that Americans do not have a third option (as of now, at least) which one is lesser evil for America – “Trumpism” or “Clintonism”? If both options are fatal for America, is any hope that the unipolar world order (aka Anglo-American Empire) will survive?

        5. If the Empire is doomed, is there any real force in the world – except Putin’s Russia that is – who can offer an alternative and better view on the future of the world?

      2. I’ll try to get back to you later. Answering five questions at once isn’t easy, especially since the questions are clearly designed to make me look a fool! 🙂

  10. @ Jake

“My thesis is that ‘time is of the essence’…

I’ve been saying essentially this since Trump was elected; i.e., the political ascendancy of Trump is an act of desperation. As repugnant as Trump is personally, he has exactly the “qualities” the “deep state” needs at this desperate hour.

As I see it, Trump’s moving the embassy to Jerusalem was a highly symbolic act; a political “coming out” where he revealed himself as an evil messianic figure whose rise to power and subsequent acts signifies the end of the era of political opportunism and faux “clever diplomacy” – which is now replaced with messianism, unprecedented lawlessness, and the brazen assertion of raw power in the face of ever greater risks.

      1. Thanks, Wig – If he were anywhere near the ‘Ike’ of Iran…. he was no damned good.

        Or worse….

Even ‘Ike’ did not mow down Americans at home.

      2. @ Wiggins

“To be clear: Iran will try its best to avoid all-out war. The U.S. will not. This is the war that, as the NYT reports, “Hawks in Israel and America have spent more than a decade agitating for.” It will start, upon some pretext, with a full-scale U.S. air attack on Iran, followed by Iranian and allied attacks on U.S. forces and allies in the region, including Israel, and then an Israeli nuclear attack on Iran—which they think will end it. It is an incomprehensible disaster. And it’s becoming almost impossible to avoid.

The best prospect for stopping it would be for Iran and Russia to enter into a mutual defense treaty right now. But that’s not going to happen. Neither Russia nor China is going to fight for Iran. Why would they? They will sit back and watch the war destroy Iran, Israel, and the United States.”

Interesting article, but I’m not sure if I fully agree with this (last) part. Russia and China may not be willing to fight for Iran, per se, but they may be willing to fight to preemptively stop the deadly, implacable monster before it attacks them.

With his calculated cold-blooded murder of Soleimani, Trump has not only shown the world the depth of his treacherous lawlessness but also his madness. Surely by now any lingering doubt is gone and Trump is seen in Moscow and Beijing (and everywhere else for that matter) as a criminally insane madman. And judging by the (lack of) reaction to the murder (which is a crime under 18 U.S. Code § 1116) , the whole U.S. government must be seen as equally depraved.

Anyway, I suppose the plan is to try to bomb Iran back to the stone age. But are Russia and China really going to sit there and do nothing while their ally is victimized in a senseless war of aggression; especially if the empire uses nukes? I don’t know about China but it seems to me that the Russian government would be seriously destabilized if it did nothing.

Also btw with Iran promising revenge for Trump’s heinous crime, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if our masters are presently setting up a false flag attack somewhere to be blamed on Iran.

      3. Interesting article, but I’m not sure if I fully agree with this (last) part. Russia and China may not be willing to fight for Iran, per se, but they may be willing to fight to preemptively stop the deadly, implacable monster before it attacks them.

Do you think Russia and China are taking serious measures right to defend themselves in readiness for an imminent attack?

I voted for him as the lesser of two evils . . . and I now regret it.
But who could vote for the alternative candidate?

      5. @ Harold Smith
        @ Pat

An off-topic question, but do you happen to know if the American taxpayer has to pick up the bill to pay for the maintenance of synagogues and their security? Do Christian churches and mosques get equal and comparable financing, or do they have to pay for their own security and maintenance. And what about Holocaust museums? Do Jews pay for the buildings to be built and maintained or does the American taxpayer have to pick up the tab?

      6. Wiggins,

That’s a shattering article. I think the conclusion is scary and ought to appeal to Harold Smith. It echoes many of his ideas:

To be clear: Iran will try its best to avoid all-out war. The U.S.

They will sit back and watch the war destroy Iran, Israel, and the United States.

The only thing I’m not so sure about is that Israel and the United States will also be destroyed. Wounded badly perhaps, but not destroyed.

      7. @ Saki

“Do you think Russia and China are taking serious measures right to defend themselves in readiness for an imminent attack?”

As a practical matter I don’t know what they can do, other than prepare for a first strike. It seems to me we’re in new territory now. There’s no longer any such thing as rule of law, diplomacy, good faith, etc., so any kind of “negotiations” are a pointless if not dangerous waste of time. Bottom line: there’s a lawless, nuclear-armed madman holed-up in the white house who threatens the whole world.

        @ Cobber

“I voted for him as the lesser of two evils . . . and I now regret it.
But who could vote for the alternative candidate?”

Lots of us did, including me. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and he betrayed us; so the moral responsibility is his.

        @ Sister Monica

“The only thing I’m not so sure about is that Israel and the United States will also be destroyed. Wounded badly perhaps, but not destroyed.”

If Trump lights the whole Mideast on fire, I can imagine retaliatory domestic “terrorist” attacks followed by the imposition of martial law, gun confiscation, FEMA camps for “anti-semites” etc. I think the U.S. will be destroyed politically, morally and financially; IOW it will be the end of the U.S. as we knew it.

      8. Excellent comment, Harold! You are without doubt one of the most outstanding posters on this site.

      9. Saki –

Here is a partial answer which I can document…..

The Holocaust Museum is being built on federal government land by the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, a taxpayer-funded federal government agency created by Congress in 1980.

Museum construction costs are being covered by donations. So far more than $130 million has been pledged — almost all of it from wealthy Jewish donors.

The US Holocaust Memorial Council and its friends in the media have been unable to generate widespread support for the Museum project.

In 1980, the Congress limited the budget of the Holocaust Council to $2.5 million. But ever generous with the people’s money, the Congress later went far beyond this figure, and has since appropriated $33 million above the originally authorized amount.

Last June, the Congress voted an additional $18.3 million in taxpayer money to fund the US Holocaust Memorial Council for fiscal year 1993. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that for the fiscal years 1994 to 2000, the Council will receive $15.4 million tax dollars annually (adjusted for inflation). The taxpayer bill for the Holocaust Museum between 1993 and 2000 will easily amount to at least $110 million. (Congressional Record – House, June 16, 1992, pp. H 4742-4744.)

Remarkably, the Holocaust Museum’s operating budget is expected to exceed that of the nearby Air and Space Museum, the most visited museum in the world, and will be seven times the operating cost of the Lincoln, Jefferson and Washington memorials combined.

        ….

        2015:
The Obama administration awarded $12 million for assistance to Holocaust survivors.

The allocation from the Department of Health and Human Services to the Jewish Federations of North America, to be disbursed over five years, is part of an initiative launched in late 2013 by Vice President Joe Biden to address the needs of survivors in the United States…..

        ….

        2018:
Holocaust Memorial Museum Continues to Rake in Americans’ Tax Dollars

The museum has received over $479 MILLION in tax dollars….
In fiscal year 2019, for example, the Holocaust Museum will receive $58 million in American tax dollars!!

      10. @ Pat

A thousand thanks for this invaluable information. You really are a mine of useful background knowledge, unknown to most people, and I hope I may call on your expertise again. It is as I suspected. The Trump administration serves the Israel Lobby just as slavishly as previous US administrations, if not more so.

Here is this Zionist stooge paying his respects to his Jewish masters at the Western Wall:

        https://pics.conservativememes.com/jerusalem-24-p-special-report-from-riyadh-saudi-arabia-pres-21642248.png

      11. Anyone who thinks this orange clown is the “New Stalin” needs his head tested. Stalin was sexually puritanical, Trump the very opposite — a locker room sleaze ball openly boasting about groping women, paying prostitutes for sex behind his wife’s back, and even making vulgar semi-incestuous comments about his own daughter Ivanka. I don’t recollect Stalin ever saying he’d like to date his daughter Svetlana! 🙂

      12. Lobro doesn’t have a clue. I can’t say this on the thread bearing the title, “Lobro: Why I Admire Stalin”, because Admin has forbidden all negative criticism of Lobro there, making compliments of Lobro compulsory. So I’m saying it here, in the hope my comment won’t be deleted.

      13. The “eaglet” (Israel) will be destroyed. The “eagle” (USA) will be wounded and fly back to N. America with damaged wings to lick its wounds. Back to where it is protected from the main Mideast battlegrounds by great oceans on either side……..woe to the world 😪

      14. @ Brownhawk

You speak prophetically, brother! It will be as you say. But your prophecy applies only to the immediate future, i.e. to the next decade or so. But a lot can happen in 20 years’ time to reverse the fortunes of the American “eagle”.

A time will come, I predict, when not only the “eaglet” (Israel) lies in ruins but the grand old “eagle” itself (the US) will become a wasteland of devastation with rivers of blood in the streets.

        Can’t you see it…?

      15. Saki
If it comes to be, then I suspect the rivers of blood will run all over the world. But who can say? There are seers I’m familiar with who say the world of which the aforementioned rivers will run are like a locust’s outer shell, and that the “locust” that emerges will be a new world of mighty splendors…..for those among us who would inhabit it

        Heady stuff, eh?

      16. Saki
Maybe “mighty splendors” translates to “my father has many mansions”, from Scripture

        Pat

It certainly appears that Israel won’t be wiped out. But then again, the appearance is only in keeping with today’s news. 🇮🇱

  11. Curioser+curioser (but make of it what you will, mine is anchored to 3-letter terms, e.g., “NYT”): The 19-second video published by the New York Times last week showing the moment an Iranian missile hit a passenger jet has prompted much social media skepticism.

(…) why was this “videographer” standing in a derelict industrial area outside Tehran at around six o’clock in the morning with a mobile phone camera training on a fixed angle to the darkened sky? The airliner is barely visible, yet the sky-watching person has the camera pointed and ready to film a most dramatic event, seconds before it happened. That strongly suggests, foreknowledge.

[Foreknowledge: Rumors have persisted in alternative media (as in this clip) that the pair (Evelyn & Lynn de Rothschild) had a “front-row” penthouse view of the World Trade Center’s destruction on 9/11]

[continuing] Given that something awful has just been witnessed it is all the more strange that the person holding the camera remains calm and unshaken. There is no audible expression of shock or even the slightest disquiet.
[well, what did you expect them to do, dance atop moving vans—they wouldn’t repeat that mistake]
Turns out that Nariman Gharib, the guy who received the video and credited by the NY Times for submitting it, is a vociferous anti-Iranian government dissident who does not live in Iran. He ardently promotes regime change in his social media posts.

Soros is outraged by this tragedy, just like he was outraged about Soleimani killing, predictably blaming 19 flying jihadis (← oops, scratch that) … er, Trump.
Good thing everybody is so well aware of history that it will never repeat itself—never again 😉

    1. You know the age-old saying…. “Those who do not study history are doomed to REPEAT IT!!!”

I say… Those who DO study history…. can REPEAT IT in less than half the time!! 🙂

      See:

U.S. to evacuate its citizens from Wuhan, China!!

The United States is arranging a charter flight on Sunday to bring its citizens and diplomats back from the Chinese city of Wuhan, epicenter of the outbreak of a new – CORONAVIRUS, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday.

The plane, with around 230 people, will carry diplomats from the U.S. consulate as well as U.S. citizens and their families, the Journal reported, citing a person familiar with the operation.

Washington was given approval for the operation from China’s Foreign Ministry and other government agencies following negotiations in recent days, the newspaper said.

A spokesperson for the U.S. Embassy in Beijing said that on Thursday, the State Department had ordered the departure of family members and all U.S. government employees at its Wuhan consulate, but declined to comment on the report that other U.S. citizens would be evacuated from the city.
      https://www.yahoo.com/news/u-evacuate-citizens-wuhan-china-120122368.html

      1. Pat
And speaking of historical events not likely to repeat themselves (i.e. POTUS assassinations)…..

Word on the street has it that the Bay of Pigs invasion was initiated by JFK as a favor to his mob buddies for putting him over the top in the 1960 election via the Daley political machine manipulating the votes in crucial Chicago precincts

The mob was livid over Castro taking over what they considered to be THEIR island of Cuba, which was true in a sense, given that it was their casinos that generated the revenue that ran the place, and they wanted it back.

Word is that mob henchmen were recruited by the CIA in cahoots with Rothschild and his ilk as part of the assassination team in Dallas that day. 😎

      2. After hearing about the outbreak of this virus and the possible causes of it (eating bats and koala bears) in addition to eating dogs which has been known already, I have lost my desire to see China again. I know that the Chinese are a highly intelligent people and they have created a great country again but I have no desire to go there as long as they continue these practices (even if it’s only in certain cities) and more world threatening diseases can break out.

      3. Stink bugs and “Paradise Trees” are two more plagues which have come to us from China. 😡
I think it must be pay-back for how badly we used the Chinese coolies when the great railroads were built. When the importation of African slaves was outlawed in the early 19th Century (long before The War for Southern Independence), many slave ship captains became otherwise employed hauling coolies out of Hong Kong for labor. Most of the boats were former sailing yachts owned from Newport and New York yacht club members who profited greatly from both trades.

    2. Dancing (honorary) Schlomo #6, reporting live from the bowery, camera at the ready, 6 a.m. sharp (aka) take-off time. It’s a miracle!
      Yeah, that’s the ticket..

  12. What are the ” unspoken rules of engagement with Iran in the Arab East”? What are those “unspoken rules” and why do they have to be spoken when they are written into law? The US and Iran are not at war, and neither are Iran and Israel.so obviously murdering an Iranian General is illegal and an act of war. I hope Iran does retaliate and I hope they retaliate more than once, I hope they do it continuously without commenting to leave doubt as to who is doing it. I hope they have the ability to do that, and I hope they can do it against Israelis too. If they can’t get to the Israelis in Israel, which I have the impression is like a police state where it’s hard to assassinate someone, then they should target the Israelis when they are in the US. I’m certain they could assassinate them in the US and I hope they do.

    1. just what i keep saying, Peter, welcome to the club—due to their global distribution, they present what the jewmurrikn military calls “target-rich environment“.
Here in Thailand, i can’t board a single train, bus or flight without some smelly-israhelly sitting next to me.
And it is like that everywhere else that i know of, India, Europe, Central+south America … wtf?
It means that every one of those vermin, once done with army stint when they notched the requisite dozen child deaths, dated+verified through telescopic lenses, they are given US shekels and free tickets to infiltrate, sniff out opportunities for plunder, corruption or sabotage all over the world, very often i see those young plague-bearers jotting notes (handwritten, more private and safe from wikileaks).
But they also present soft targets to roving fida’i of Alamut, like the saying goes: easier than shooting fish in a barrel. What goes ’round …

But here is another interesting angle, seems like a poison story is gradually leaked into media that the nCoV (coronavirus) escaped from a Chinese high security facility in Wuhan after stolen from a Canadian lab: Did China Steal Coronavirus From Canada And Weaponize It?
      Sounds plausible, until this

In a 2015 academic paper, Shoham – of Bar-Ilan’s Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies – asserts that more than 40 Chinese facilities are involved in bio-weapon production.

      No sh1t!
would that be the same Menachem Begin, the leader of jew terror group Irgun, for which he copped the Nobel Peace Prize? “Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet and serve us as our slaves.” Another Good Jew, let’s move on.
And don’t for minute consider the possibility that Begin, oops, Shoham is part of a mossad operation routed through their colonial offices in Saudi, Egypt and Canada to dump the virus at the doorstep of a Chinese bio-lab perfectly timed for the Lunar New Year mass migration of quarter a billion Chinese people.
Hmm, must consult my precious Gematria to figure out the numerological angles, what about jew holidays, Fukushima dates, there’s gotta be something that ties them into a magical whole.

      1. Bad Chinese snake oil is the culprit! Yeah, that’s the ticket. Damn snakes have been nothing but trouble from Day One. Yep, snakes it is. Can’t say Adam didn’t warn us about those damn $nakes..

      2. @ Lobro

ADMIN : COMMENT DELETED AT SENDER’S REQUEST.
(Comment inoffensive but sender unhappy with it.)

      3. i was just wondering about that angle, Homer.
Because on one hand they say it started off with some random 60-yr old Saudi checking into Riyadh hospital with nCoV, while on the other they sequenced the virus back to a bat+snake.
Let’s think about the beloved Jew occult symbolism:
        bat: Devil, vampire
snake: corrupting serpent of Eden, ancient zio sign, mentioned in the protocols.

i’d say that the virus sequences back to the six-pointed star however you look at it.

        eschatological times ahead.

(it’s okay ruth, anything from you that is inoffensive is already appreciated by me, i never go for a low-hanging fruth 😀 )

      4. And now on top of hysterical mexican standoff between Iran and the forces of Satan and the rapidly mutating nCoV pandemic (and it indeed bears hallmarks of a pathogenic hurricane, just as difficult to accurately predict future tracks and intensity, is it Cat 3, 4 or 5), here comes the BIGGEST, SCARIEST, THE MOST OMG! CATASTROPHE OF ALL:
German Foreign Minister calls for “global task force” & harsher penalties against ‘hate speech’ and anti-semitism

“For A Long Time Now, Words Have Not Been Enough” Speeches and warnings are insufficient when it comes to anti-Semitism in Germany and Europe. We need concrete programs to counter the hatred of Jews, including better education and harsher penalties.

yes to all of that, plus harsher education and better penalties.

and the worst is that due to high demand in SE Asia, i can’t find a hazmat suit to protect myself from the dread antisemite virus (AsV), tremendously contagious, hazardous to life and career, silent, symptom-free incubation period.

(how does the phrase go, i forget—”to counter the hatred by Jews“)

      5. Lobro –

Germany: “We need concrete programs to counter the hatred of Jews, including better education and harsher penalties.”

‘Put-On’ wants those same ‘harsher penalties’ to help jews in Russia.

‘Put-On’ is as much beholden to Russian jew oligarchs as Germany is to jew bankers, and as Trump is to Adelson’s cabal.

And… I choose to believe Russia’s SputnikNews from 2014… the same news ‘Put-On’ likes, and takes down what he does not like… which was the case here!! 🙂

President Putin signs law criminalizing Nazi revisionist tactics!!
        http://sputniknews.com/voiceofrussia/2014_05_07/President-Putin-signs-law-criminalizing-nazi-revisionist-tactics-4771/ (**Taken down NOW!!)

On Monday May 5, 2014 the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin passed a Russian Federal Law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation” aimed at opposing attempts to infringe on historical memory in relation to events that took place during World War II(the Great Patriotic War), according to the Kremlin. This is a clear sign to fascists worldwide.

The passing of the law shortly before the May 9th Victory Day celebrations (a bittersweet day when Russians remember the tens of millions who fell fighting the scourge of nazi Germany and joyfully celebrate the victory of Russia, the Red Army and the USSR over the nazi fascists) and against the backdrop of the events in Ukraine (where the US installed and backed fascist junta has mobilized the army and is employing armed paramilitary nazi Right Sector extremists to engage in what can only be described as a nazi “war of extermination” against those who refuse to be ruled by the degenerate followers of nazi SS stooge Stephan Bandera and grant legitimacy to the junta which violently overthrew the democratically elected government in February) has received a lot of attention worldwide, in particular with nazi glorifiers, white supremacists and Jewish groups.

According to the Kremlin: “The new Federal Law makes it a criminal offence to deny facts recognized by the international military tribunal that judged and punished the major war criminals of the European Axis countries, approving the crimes this tribunal judged, and deliberately spreading false information about the Soviet Union’s activities during World War II.”

**The brief summary wording of the law has been posted on the Kremlin website and recognizes the findings of the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal that would make Holocaust Denial a crime in the Russian Federation as this comes under “facts recognized by the international military tribunal”.

  13. Those who don’t study their history are doomed to REAP-EAT it…
Trouble is – the masses generally have NO IDEA what their history really is…
    HAWK
JFK supposedly called off the air support on Bay of Pigs day, dooming the CIA/MOB invaders…
Calling off the Vietnam war, pissing off the CIA and the MOB might be one thing, but issuing the Silver Certificates was what really got him killed… Too many bad people wanted that guy dead…
Also Somebody – Wilson and FDR’s elections were way before JFK…
His might not have been the last real election, but he was the last real President…

    1. Correct, Bark; but they were “United States Notes” – not Silver Certificates. AND, Alan Greenspan happened to be his chief economic advisor at that time. (I often try to imagine the discourse between those who recommended Greenspan’s position in the Fed…)

    2. Bark
My understanding is that JFK called off the invasion primarily due to his brother’s insistence, whom he had appointed as the AG. Later on they got him too. But you’re right, issuing those certificates probably served as a forerunner to planting the idea that would ultimately make the Fed obsolete. Plenty of potential recruits for doing the dirty deed in Dallas. Professional mob hitmen got the job, but ironically enough it was Greer his Secret Service limo driver who fired the kill shot from point blank range

I’m guessing you cant find the unedited Zapruder video anymore which clearly shows this

  14. Cobber,

Thank you for answering my questions, which you did admirably indeed. I agree with much of what you have said. Arguing our differences at length wouldn’t probably make much sense here, so I will restrict my reply to making short comments on some of your points.

And yes, as you yourself hint, both options or ways are equally fatal to America and the unipolar world order — the anglo-American empire — will not survive. Nor does it deserve to survive since it is based on deception, exploitation, and ruthless mass cruelty.

You are in good agreement with Putin here; I have two compelling documents to support my assertion:

    (1) PROPHETIC Putin’s Munich Speech from 2007: Unipolar World Will ‘Lead to Chaos’

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0BeN7LMrh4

    (2) Putin table talk with Western journalists in Sochi at Valdai Discussion Club where he says – and I quote: But your achievement is bad – and it will always be bad, because your work is unfair and immoral. Immoral politics always loses – in the long run

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aW_fco6PweI

I am all for Putin if he is 100 per cent behind the Russian Orthodox Church and has a genuine reverence for Jesus Christ and traditional values, but my respect for Putin would die at once and turn to horror if I found out he was a diehard Stalinist and doing all he can to promote the current Stalin cult in Russia. Christianity and Stalinism are absolutely and totally incompatible to me — like worshipping Christ and Satan at the same time.

There is no Stalin cult in Russia today and never was, but there is a sober and completely rational understanding what Stalin did to restore and preserve the Russian statehood – put differently, to preserve Russian people as a nation in the world of ruthless competition. Russian people do not worship Stalin – they are grateful to him.

Putin is neither pro-Stalin nor anti-Stalin – he is pro-Russian. I believe that if Putin lived and ruled in the times and circumstances of 1930s and 1940s, he would act more like Stalin, while if Stalin lived and ruled in our times and our circumstances he would act more like Putin.

Stalin and Stalinism for Russians mean basically two things: patriotism and social justice. In that sense, I would say that Putin is “a die-hard Stalinist”, whether you like it or not.

As a Russian, that is perfectly OK with me.

    1. @ Circassian

Thanks for letting me know where you stand. The only real bone of contention between us is Stalin.

You may say there’s “NO STALIN CULT” in Russia, but only the other day I was reading an article by British historian, Max Hastings, who mentions the prevalence of Stalin worship among the Russian masses. He says he got into many taxis in Moscow and found Stalin photos and other Stalin icons stuck in the windscreens of cabs. If the passenger dared to comment negatively on Stalin, the cab driver would stop the cab and kick the passenger out, maybe even beating him up. And the police would do nothing about it. So says Hastings. Is he lying? I don’t know. Maybe he is.

But then, even if Hastings can’t be trusted, what about this photo clearly proving the widespread existence of Stalin worship? — Franklin Ryckaert writes here in an informative comment on the previous thread: “Here is a picture of [one of] those stupid Russians, literally worshipping their monster [Stalin] as a saint :

      https://nftu.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/32.jpg

Pardon me for saying so, Circassian, but that photo is worth more than a thousand words! 🙂

Thanks a lot, Cobber: it’s been long since I had laugh this good.

I have no idea who Max Hastings is, but he is definitely a man with rich imagination. I live in Moscow and I can tell you that Max Hastings would have hard time finding a cab in Moscow with a driver who is ethnic Russian to begin with – in 9 cases out of 10 it would be a young lad from Tajikistan or Uzbekistan who hardly could utter a connected and meaningful sentence in Russian about Stalin.

But then, even if Hastings can’t be trusted, what about this photo clearly proving the widespread existence of Stalin worship?

If this statement were coming from Franklin Ryckaert it wouldn’t surprise me much, but coming from you – clearly an intelligent person – it is quite puzzling. A picture from the internet “clearly proving the widespread existence” of anything…

I don’t even know how to respond to this. You are pulling my leg, I guess.

Anyhow, check what an obscure website https://nftu.net/about-nftu/ , which is asking for donations, is all about, and what it has to do with Russia.

      2. OK, Circassian. Point made. I’m at a disadvantage here because I’ve never been to Moscow.

Anyway, here is a Max Hastings comment about taxi drivers in Moscow from an anti-Putin article written by Hastings in March 2018:

It is unthinkable today that a Berlin taxi-driver would have an image of Adolf Hitler stuck to his windscreen. Yet in Moscow it is commonplace to be driven by a man cherishing a picture of Josef Stalin, Hitler’s closest rival among the 20th century’s mass murderers. Putin himself often avows his admiration for Stalin.

        https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5484385/MAX-HASTINGS-Putin-gangster-time-on.html

Yes, you can sneer at the source if you want. The Daily Mail, a mainstream British newspaper, is admittedly pure propaganda. But then the same thing would apply to your sources too. Equally to be mistrusted. Agreed?

As for the photo showing the bearded Stalin worshipper burning a candle for ‘Saint’ Stalin with his own halo, I take your point. Why trust a photo from google images? It could be doctored or photo-shopped. But this has to be proved. The photo isn’t a fake just because you say so. What proof is there? None.

Ryckaert believes in the authenticity of the photo, and I have no reason to disbelieve in it or doubt its veracity.

Incidentally, unlike you, I rate Franklin Ryckaert’s intelligence highly. His comments are always factual and supported by links to the most reputable sources. I understand he is a member of MENSA with an IQ of 140.

    2. Circassian

You are easy “prey” with you’re level of understanding being prototypical of so many, Russians and otherwise. If you want to be taken seriously then you have to know how ridiculous you sound when stating that there is a “sober and completely rational understanding of what Stalin did to restore and preserve the Russian statehood” in ‘preserving’ the Russian people.” That he saved it by moving said statehood to the level of modernity that the “West” had long since achieved. Explain how a nation can be “saved” when the operation of DOING that is not done on YOUR TERMS?

This is a classic example of how, in using the game of chess as a metaphor, the very nature of PLAYING it makes the player subject to being played himself by virtue of the fact that once the first move is made the entire GAME becomes one reactionary move after another. The INVENTOR of chess is the only one whose intentions succeed in becoming reality by there being those who’ve chosen to play the game from JUMP ST. (i.e; from the beginning of a manipulation of “linear” history) This is why its impossible for “4D” chess to even EXIST. These ways of history are self-propelled. What is represented via the Protocols merely FEED off that.

In my view three good examples of men who tried to lead their respective peoples/countrymen towards “unplugging” from the gaping maw of linearly manufactured history since the appearance of Jesus Christ on the scene were the Huron holy man Deganawidah, Thomas Jefferson (with a shoutout to ‘ol Tom Paine), and Adolph Hitler.

Obviously the last one of this triad would be hard for you to fathom, but then again, it all gets back to that level of understanding common to so many.

P.S. I think my buddy hp knows what ahm talkin’ ’bout….and sri prabhupada, too

    1. @ Circassian

Excellent comment! All the three points you make cheer me up, but Point 1 not so much. After all, Circassian, how can you yourself be pleased that “one in four Americans say Trump should be tried for war crimes over Soleimani killing”? Yes, it’s nice to know 25% of the American population have brains that are in relatively good working order. It fills me with despair, however, to learn that three Americans out of four are brainless idiots. 🙂

      1. LSC is, perhaps, the weirdest triangle I have ever seen in my mathematical career.

        L(obro): Trump is an American Stalin which is good news not only for America but for the world at large;

        S(ard): Stalin is the worst mass murderer of Russian Christians ever, and God forbid his reemergence anywhere in the world;

C(irc): The best thing that could happen to America and to the world at large today would be the emergence of an American Stalin, but – to his great regret – this is not likely to happen on American soil now or ever.

    2. That’s it Circassian. Completely disregard what I just told you and keep on spewing your nonsense that can’t or WON’T see the forest for the trees. But what about others, like Sardonicus, who gives this fool a response, as if to take anything he says seriously when all he and so many others are lost in a tangle of trees?

      1. Chief,

I can see that you are upset. But don’t blame me for that. I have advised you what you need to do, but you wouldn’t listen.

Your “revelations” are on the level of Pat’s “no nukes”, or TROJ’s “flat Earth”… with all due respect to these fine gentlemen. You need to hang out with these guys to feel better.

I would suggest also a hot bath. But I stress again – no pipe smoking.

      2. @ Circassian

Brownhawk has been with us a long time and there’s no point going out of your way to annoy him. Try and be a bit more friendly to our regulars. Why not just comment on the articles and give us the Russian point of view on the decline of America and its Western allies into mass decadence. After all, that’s what you’re good at.

However, bear in mind that many of our readers don’t agree with you about Putin. Putin is a hero to many of our dissidents, but he is a villain to a far greater number. To win his spurs, Putin has to prove more supportive to Iran — and be prepared to fight for Iran if Iran is attacked by the US and Israel — and he show a bit more of hostility to Israel.

For a start, Putin should allow the Holocaust to be freely debated on Russian TV. Why doesn’t do that?

      3. Circassian
Here’s the statement made by Stalin that serves as the primary basis for your specious argument:

“To slacken the tempo would mean falling behind. And those who fall behind get beaten.

We* are fifty or a hundred years behind the advanced countries. We* must make good this distance in ten years. Either we* do it, or (((they))) crush us.”

There was no intention from the “West” that essentially OWNS Russia* for them to be crushed. Otherwise, the German military would have done just that had the West* not compromised their Intel. This allowed the Soviets to know the German troop advancements well in advance at the outset of the war in 1941. Combined with FDR’s Russian lend-lease program giving them all kinds of desperately needed means of firepower, and your country was SAVED from being beaten in the very first year of the war. The simple conclusion to be arrived at is that the “West” had every reason to ENSURE a Russian victory, starting with the destruction of the Czarist system in 1917. The only nation for which there WAS the intention to destroy it was Germany…twice.

*Stalin’s “we” is a misnomer wherein “we” would reflect true National sovereignty. No different than “we” in the U.S. or “we” virtually anywhere else in the world

      4. @Admin Toby

        Toby,

My mission here – if I may allow myself to be pathos a bit – is not to win your readers’ support for Putin. My mission is to make the confused dwellers of a nut house realize that: (1) they are indeed in a nut house, and (2) the only force in the entire world that can rescue them is Putin’s Russia.

How do I do that? By giving crisp information, which is not likely to reach their ears and penetrate their thick sculls without a little push from your humble servant. That’s all.

Here is one good example of such information:

      5. If, or WHEN, push comes to shove, Russia will fight for it’s own survival. If by extension this ends UP favoring Iran in a general war in the ME, then so it will be. Such a war in the ME in all likelihood will end in Israel’s demise

        Chanukah – 2016…..
Vladimir Putin Praises Chabad!! 🙂 🙂
“I would like to extend my holiday greetings to you and to *ALL* of Russian Jewry. I wish you a happy Chanukah and all of the very best, along with your family and all of the Jews in Russia. I must say that there are very positive developments in Russia.”

“I would like to extend my holiday greetings to you and to ALL of Russian Jewry. I wish you a happy Chanukah and all of the very best, along with your family and all of the Jews in Russia. I must say that there are very positive developments in Russia. New Synagogues and Jewish Centers are opening up, and I am thankful to you for that. I hope that our joint efforts will continue to thrive and progress.”

These were the wishes of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Chief Rabbi of Russia Berl Lazar at a private audience that was granted in honor of Chanukah at the Kremlin office in Moscow.

**Later, the president told Rabbi Lazar: “There have been many nations who have come and gone. But the Jewish nation continues to exist, generation after generation for thousands of years. I am sure, that this is only because of their strict adherence to the Torah and its commandments. They pass on these traditions throughout the generations no matter what the circumstances.”

“Once again, I’d like to thank you for the development of Jewish communities, and lots of Jewish activities for all ages and in all areas, here in OUR country of Russia,” continued the president….. ‘Put-On’!!

The meeting, which was held in honor of Chanukah, was also attended by the president of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Russia, Rabbi Alexander Boroda.

The first part of the meeting was open to the Russian media, which covered and reported it in a most sympathetic and dignified manner. During the meeting, a few more topics came up regarding continuing the development of Jewish institutions all over Russia, including the return of many historical buildings, which had been synagogues and Jewish schools in the past. The president was highly supportive of all these initiatives and requests.

As the meeting finally ended, the words we say when lighting the Chanukah candles “in those days, in these times” seemed to echo even louder.

You got yer guess and I got mine

I don’t see another war on a grand scale like the ones with misleading terms like WW1 and WW2. Here’s a good quote in that score:

“…we mutually agreed to call it ‘The First World War’ in order to prevent the millennium film from forgetting that the history of the world is a history of war”

Lt. Col. Charles A’Court Repington, British soldier and journalist

My guess is that another BIGLY war will break out in the ME resulting with a U.S. military defeat and Russia emerging relatively unscathed. Israel will go down AS PLANNED in serving as the ultimate sacrificial goat. After all, this twisted form of sacrifice is what these crazy Chabadian Jews are all about. Not that Israeli Jews are on board with this. They’re slated to be pawns in the game with their own particular distinction of BEING pawns

      8. Putin isn’t party to making up the plan. Russia and its leaders, except maybe Lenin, haven’t been and aren’t now. Stalin merely went along with it. But Putin will nonetheless be a beneficiary of sorts, as was Stalin, in their own respective ways. Survival of Russia no matter the cost
